I changed my old dentist to new Hot one ;) so at least with the pain there's still an eyecandy

I do like going to the Dentist! Probably because I always get good reports and I like the clean feeling afterwards. Buuuut... I'm scared for my next bi-yearly visit where they may find that my wisdom teeth are coming in... I felt one coming in recently and I don't want to go through the surgery!!!

*shudder* I go...but only because I prefer actually having my own teeth inside my mouth. Which reminds me...I need a cap soon. Not looking forward to it. Thank God the wisdom teeth have already been taken care of (a worthy rant all its own, but I won't subject ya'll to that lovely little painfest).

I actually never minded it - as a child, I had the best dentist ever who did magic shows and tons of other fun stuff before/after my visits, so I think he instilled in me a love that has lingered :)
however - a bunch of my friends are now in dental school and one just graduated last year, and they've all made me kind of hate dentistry because they are always wanting to examine me, and in the case of my dmd friend, become my dentist... he graduated at the top of his (ivy-league) class, but I feel like that will just be awkward?

I love the dentist. I just had a discussion with my mom that I don't even want health insurance. I only want dental coverage. What could be better than a mouth full of great teeth!

I hate the dentist. Like, talking about going to the dentist makes me break into hives. Recently, I found a dentist who actually works with me (aka gives me drugs like Valium & nitrous} so I can sit in the chair. It's the only way I've been able to have some badly needed work done.

I HATE the dentist! It's my least favorite appointment to go to. So freaking painful, even for just the damn cleanup i had the other week. They kept poking my gums with their spiky tools, and it made my gums bleed.

It's not my favorite place, that's for sure. But I really don't mind the dentist. There are other doctors I hate going to more...the eye doctor and gynecologist just to name a couple. I currently don't have dental insurance though so a trip to the dentist is not in my immediate future :(

I actually really enjoy the dentist. I secretly (or not so secretly anymore) still want the sticker when I get out of the chair that says I was a good sport or something cute like that. I take the toothbrush though and leave happy.
