The Bloggers With The Most To Say
Do you follow the blogs of ALL of your 20SB's friends?
Sometimes, while browsing in the members' area I send friend requests without even bookmarking their blog urls. Whenever I remember I go back to their profile to check out their blog. What about you?

Honestly? No. If I add someone as a friend, it's because I do read his/her blog. If someone adds me, I accept it and use my friends list to check out new blogs. Unfortunately, because of the holidays and time constraints, I haven't been as able to do that lately, but my 20sb friends list is a great jumping point for looking at blogs I might not have otherwise seen.
Sometimes, shuffling through the entire members list can be a bit daunting. If someone takes the time to friend me, I assume (perhaps wrongly) that they either read my blog or found something on my 20sb profile interesting, relatable, etc., so I want to "return the favor," if you will, and check out their profile and blog.

I do check the blog of the person I'm sending a request to, but I don't usually spend too much time on the blog, reading posts. Whenever I have time I'll bookmark it and come back later.

Slightly off topic, but is there an inherent reason to have friends on 20sb aside from saying, we read each other's blogs? That's why I make the effort to follow anyone who friend requests me on here.

Whenever I'm looking for a new blog to read though, I will use my friends list to find one.

If I send a request, it's because I read their blog. But if they send a request, I may or may not add it to mine, but I usually try to check it out. It depends on how busy I am when I accept their request. Sometimes I just forget!

I do things in a similar way. If I send a request, then it's because I follow the blog. If someone sends a request to me, then I always check out the blog (if I'm too busy to do so right away, then I'll do it later)--but I might not decide to add it to my reader, even if I approve the request. I'll check back from time to time, though.

I think most of the people in my friend lists added me because I'm on membership team, I approved them and they added me as a friend which I really appreciate. I always try to check out their blogs and leave a comment if I happen to like a post. If I really like what I see, then of course I subscribe.:)
