Do you follow your followers? Sometimes I get followers that are weird or their blog is about a topic I really don't care for. If you leave a comment on my page I will definitely comment back to you.

I very seldom follow those who follow me. Seems like most people are either boring or, like you said, weird.

I try to comment on those who follow me... but more the post/blog needs to be interesting enough to comment on too. But I know I always appreciate it when people read my stuff and comment so I try to do the same.

I try to comment back to everyone who comments on my blog, I think it's just a fun way to get to know people in general. And I usually check out everyone's blog that has commented on mine because I have found a ton of new blogs that way. With that being said, I don't follow every blog I've been too. I only follow the ones I'm interested in. I don't think "following" should be a contest. Is it great to have a lot of followers? Sure it is, everyone wants to be stalked! But I'd rather have people actually reading my posts, commenting, and making buddies then having non-interested followers who just show up the one time and never come back to interact with me.

I do agree Sara. I like to to comment back to those who read and comments on my blog. It's nice to have some interaction with everyone. Some do appreciate what is written. And you can also meet new people and blogs.

I wouldn't necessarily follow them just because they're following me. That would seem a little false. But I do at least read a few of their posts, comment sometimes and follow them if I find they're interesting/similar to things I would cover also.

I don't blog for the sole purpose of having a large following. If you like my blog, great. If I am interested in yours, I'll follow you. I welcome comments & healthy blog debates, and I reply to everyone. There are personal blogs I follow, and they don't follow me back, but I don't take it personal.

I try to return comments or respond to the comments left on my page. I love replying back by e-mail but many people don't have their e-mail linked to their profile.
Sometimes I am forgetful. But I do try and I do appreciate and read every single comment that is left.

I don't follow anyone, instead I just subscribe to the blogs I like on my Google Reader. I always wonder if people think I'm rude for not becoming a follower.

I try to reply to any comments I get on posts on the same day they arrive and then visit the commentors blogs as soon as I get chance. I will tend to follow if I enjoy what I see, but won't necessarily keep following if it's not really my kind of thing. I give everything a chance though - some are instant loves and others are growers!!

I try to, but it's a lot of work. Seriously, it's a full-time job being a good blogger. I'd say about 50% of the time I'm good at it. I feel bad that I can't respond/follow everyone.
