i use to when i was in college...That was 5 years ago. When we graduated she told me she always had the biggest crush on me. But she was engaged when she told me. Funny how stuff works out some times

I work at a university, so there's generally a good handful of attractive guys my age/within a datable age wandering around. And I have had some crushes on guys in different offices... Actually made out with one, but things got awkward. Though we're basically friends again, he does have some douchey tendencies, not the least of which was when I fell this past winter and he didn't even ask if I was okay (he saw it happen). He got a lot of flack for that one from everyone in the department, to the point of where he confronted me about it.
ANYWAY.
Work crushes can be okay, as long as you're still professional. I meet some really awesome guys here, and would definitely be okay with one of the asking me out.

Depends on what the intent is.......there's a guy at work that I like to look at (yes, I'm married, but I'm not dead--don't judge me, haha) but it's just that. I'm married--my husband works where I work, he's in a relationship, nothing would ever come of it. When we talk to each other, sometimes there's an innocent flirty undertone, but NOTHING would ever come of it. However, I must say it's nice to get harmless attention from guys other than your husband...it means I still have a bit of "mojo." :)
Sometimes working with someone you date/are married to can get complicated. And it depends on how tolerant your work environment is for that kinda stuff.....I think work crushes are ok, though.

I had a work crush, I still have a crush on her but we dont work at that place anymore. Anyway, I was so sprung on this girl, I'd get giddy whenever I'd see her and a few co-workers noticed. So, I said, what the hell, so I wrote her a little note about how I felt. I did know that she had just gotten out of a relationship. Well, she wrote a note back to me and said she wasn't ready for another one yet. It was all good 'cause we're still cool with each other.

YES. I'm sort of a little obsessed with my work crush. I'm single, but I don't ever expect anything to come out of it. Work romances are messy. This wouldn't be that bad b/c he just works with my company when stuff breaks, but it still could get awkward.
