The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Is it personal? Or just somewhere to jot down ideas and notes. I keep a little notebook with me everywhere I go. I write down quotes I like, ideas for blog posts and books I hear about. I took some pictures of them and included them in my last post, The Notebooks.

Yep, Got a small journal that holds my scribblings and ramblings. The cute thing provides a way for venting out. And sometimes, i jot down my blog posts. Also, it can be closed which makes me feel something secure bout it. :-)
I have a small notebook I keep with me everywhere I go. I use it to write down quotes, ideas, words, etc. I used to keep a journal when I was younger but I guess I got out the habit somewhere along the line. Maybe that's why I blog, it's just like an online journal.

I also write down what I read in books, words I don't know the definition of and sentences I like. Then I later look up the words and expand my vocabulary.
Yes I keep a journal and I think it's because I am a "journalist" at heart :) It's so therapeutic to write your thoughts especially thoughts that you don't necessarily want to share with anyone else but sometimes you just need to see it in black and white to reflect on it. I think the world would be a better place if more people kept them. Sometimes people feel like they can't go to anyone about their thoughts and a journal is all ways a good to own. A journal will always be open, non-judgemental and best of all it can NEVER talk back to you...yipeee
oh, absolutely, i keep a journal. i refer to it as my "analog" journal, whereas my blog is "digital." there are some things i just can't parse online. some things have to stay between me and myself. that's what the analog journal is for.
I've journaled off and on over the years. I wish I did it more now, although I appreciate having a blog where I put thought into quality as well! As far as notebooks, I always have one that fills in as a source of paper. Whatever, phone numbers, recipes, drawings, poetry, notes and a fair bit of writing. Although I never blogged about the habit itself, I started occasionally including pieces of these scribbles of the past. It's kinda fun as I'd never intended them to see the light of day. Or, you know, computer screens :).
When I get an idea I write myself a note in my phone. Then, when I get home, I write it on my stickies list. I thought about getting a notebook but decided that nothing interesting happens to me. I do have a legal pad around the house in case I need to jot something down, though.
