The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Do people tend to think you are older or younger than your real age? Or do you look your age?
People always think I'm much younger than I am (I'll be 23 in a few days); I usually get the 16-18 year mark. Then when I tell them my real age, they always backtrack and say things like "Oh, you'll appreciate it when you're older!" I guess it depends how I have my hair, if I'm wearing make-up, what I'm wearing etc...For the most part, I don't mind it.

So, what about everyone else? Do you like it or hate it?

I don't get carded much anymore.

Apparently I look about 30.

I am about 30. 29.6 to be exact.

How could I be insulted or flattered if people think I am the age I am?
People don't believe I'm 26, and usually guess I am 19-21. I understand where they're coming from, and it doesn't bother me one bit. I can only hope to hang on to such youth.
I wear very little makeup, if I wear any at all, and this always makes the bartenders ask me for my ID. I could probably get a child discount at an amusement park, if I really wanted to.
when i was 16 everyone guessed i was 25-26.

when i was 20 everyone guessed i was 22-23.

now i'm 22 and people think i'm 18.

hah.
That's why I just think people are stupid! =)

Seems around the age of 18-26 nobody can figure out your actual age. Apparently we don't age during those years?!
I'm 20, a few weeks shy of 21, and I look like I'm 17. My husband is 24 and looks about right for that age, people don't question it when I drink a beer that he ordered. It depends on what I'm wearing/make-up and how I am conducting myself. But I'll probably be carded til I'm 50. I don't mind though.
I'm 24 and still look like a teenty bopper. Being 5 foot 3 doesn't help, either.
Wow, I've never been carded for a movie before. Wait...maybe once when I was 17. But I've never had it happen since.
Yeah, I'm still get carded... and I'm turning 27 in a few months! Sometimes it's embarrassing, esp. if I'm with a group of friends who don't get carded and I'm the only one they ask to see ID for! But I guess I don't mind otherwise... eventually (like in 20 years) this will be a good thing, right?

I'm Asian and supposedly asian skin ages slower or something.. who knows... AND I'm barely 5'0''.

Sometimes it helps that my 27 year old husband is balding.. so they assume that I can't be under 21 if I'm married to this balding old man... but then, I get weird looks when they think I'm under age and that he's some sort of perv that robbed the cradle.

I'm 28. Apparently, when I shave, I look like I'm about 20. But usually I have a beard, which is kinda grey in a lot of places, and that makes me look like I'm in my early 30s.

But yeah. When I get carded for cigarettes: STOKED!!
younger ! i'm 22 years old and a few months ago i got stopped by the security guards at our mall. we have this stupid rule that if you are under the age of 18 you can't be at the mall on friday or saturday nights without being accompanied by a parent/guardian. i was there with my friend and we were coming up the escalator and i saw the security guard eyeing us from the top. when we got up there he didn't ask my friend for her Id (and she is almost 2 years younger than me) but asked me for mine and started at it for the longest time and said "there is no way that you are that old" .. it was quite embarrassing bc clearly i am of age, and was probably older than he was.
sometimes i like looking younger than my age, maybe it'll be nice when i'm older and i won't look it but it be nice to look like i was 22 right now so i could be seen as more professional and be taken more seriously.
Apparently...........I still look OLDER than my age. People always think I'm around 30 and I'm only 24. This can't be good!!!!
