The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Do you only read blogs like your own? Which is your favorite blog?

As a single person, I find it extremely hard to read blogs when I know the writer is in a relationship. I just can't do it. Even though I'm enjoying my singlehood, I can't share in their joy and feel that reading their happy posts of dates and cuddling amounts to some form of masochism.
So if you're single, do you like reading blogs where the person is in a relationship or do you stick to other blogs? Which is your favorite blog to read?
And if you're already a couple/married, do you still like reading about single people and their dating trials?

I'm single right now too, and I guess it just depends on the blog. Good writing sucks me in no matter the subject. I like to hear about people who are in good relationships. It gives me hope for the future :) I don't particulary want to read ewy-gooey, my-significant-other-is-so-amazing posts all the time though. But I think I would feel that way even if I were in a relationship.
I ike to read blogs about people who date trying to find Mr. or Mrs. Right. The tales of their dates are sometimes funny.

But my favorite blog is actually an gossip blog: http://dlisted.com/.
Very funny humor on this site.
I don't read blogs routinely where people post about their personal lives, but those of that genre I do read I don't care one way or another. If the blog is entertaining or thoughtful it doesn't really matter. It would be like only having friends who are like me, and that is really pretty life limiting.
personally, i read all genres. yes, reading all lovey dovey blogs sucks right now. however, i'm more about blogs that are entertaining. not sure if mine is entertaining, but it's definitely random enough. though i would highly suggest http://bethis.wordpress.com for a funny single blog
haha that is a very funny blog. thanks!
I'm not single, however, I don't think I've ever posted anything that would even indicate whether I'm single or married, etc. My posts are generally of a completely different nature altogether. I tend to read similar blogs... those that are not about relationships per se, and rather about ... well pretty much anything else. Don't get me wrong, I will read a GOOD blog if it's about relationships - single or not - just so long as it is written well, funny, interesting, or entertaining. If it isn't worth my time, I'll probably know within a few paragraphs.

But I wouldn't discriminate blogs by relationship status or any other parameter. A good blog is simply a good blog. If you don't want to read about sex... don't read blogs where the label Sex is hit 52 times. If you want to read about dating adventures and only dating adventures, keeping to the singles is probably your best bet.
Yes- I can't relate either to those who are married or in a relationship.
One of my faves to read is the Working Girl at blogspot.
I do both. I'd probably classify myself as dating instead of single because although I'm not "looking", I am in fact dating. Sometimes it's just too much to read about weddings, engagements or oodles of cuddling, but most of the time I like to think I'm happy (and/or envious) for them and their good luck. Sometimes it's even entertaining. And then there are those rare occasions when I say, "Thank gawd I'm single".
i love those moments...
Honestly, I don't think I take the person's relationship status into consideration at all. I like to read personal blogs, but they don't all center around relationships. Neither does mine.
Actually, I read all types of blogs. I enjoy reading blogs about single people because I can live vicariously through them. I don't enjoy reading too many "mommy" blogs because they're SO motherly - so unless they're cool moms I can't read their blogs.

ie. I'm a mom in a relationship. I also adore reading wedding blogs although I'm not married or engaged. HA! I'm a weirdo.
I read all sorts of blogs, status does not matter one bit, but I really love reading single peoples blog especially when they are having a hard time finding someone, its funny, I also love reading blogs that educate me, I write mostly about current affairs and politics
