After typing away a reply in another thread I realised I may be in the minority here, but does anyone else schedule posts in advance? My website has stuff loaded on it until early May already, so I don't particularly have to think about writing for a while, and when I'm inspired I can write a load of posts and schedule them in advance.
Am I really anal, or some sort of superior being that makes up for short comings?

Ooh wow, now that's what I call scheduling! hehe.
I sometimes do, but usually only 1 post that I write and schedule for a little bit later (usually not later than 1 day). I blog mostly about the things that have happened to me during the day/week, so it wouldnt work for me to schedule that far in advance!
Hmm, I forgot to mention I travel a lot, so don't have a reliable connection, which is also a reason for my scheduling, as I can go the odd week or so without the net.
Normally I don't have posts scheduled, but I actually just wrote one yesterday scheduled for Wednesday. Which is pretty much as far in advance as my head thinks in terms of my blog haha. I've never been one to be able to write something for a later date or think ahead about something in the future--the only reason mine is scheduled is because I rarely make two posts in one day, and I'd already done one for Monday and I do a blog meme on Tuesdays so the next free day was Wednesday. If it happens that I do think of multiple topics to write in one sitting/day, I'll write them and schedule them for later; but it doesn't happen often.
That said though, I think if that's the way you write and that's the way you work, then go right on ahead! It'd be kind of nice as a reader to know a blog I follow will have content for awhile (as much as I don't have it, I really appreciate continuity with blogs). If you have the ideas, there's no sense not to write them!
Yes, I am not actually a fan of blogs who update daily. I follow far to many to keep up with people who write daily. I also found when I was trying to write for the sake of it, the quality lowered, so I'd much rather write when I'm on my best form.
I just write about where I've been and what I'm doing, sometimes I can't write every day as I'm too busy, so don't want several posts in one day, and nothing for a few days afterwards, it just seems a neater way to layout the feed of information I'm bashing out to the internet n_n
For some of my themes I will schedule posts. I also tend to write my posts the light before and set them up to post in the mornings, I don't know why, just seemed to make sense to me. I don't usually schedule anything far into the future because most of the time I am writing about things that are pertinent now.
I have only done it a few times, say if I know I won't be around the next day, but I still want a post up or something. But nothing more than a day in advance.
Holy shit-- that's impressive. You're definitely a superior being. I have a burnt offering of some overcooked chicken thighs that I could leave at your doorstep for you if only you would turn my mother-in-law into a pillar of salt.
