The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Do you follow stats on when people are reading your blog? Do you find that people read more on the weekends or during the week? Is there a particular time of time you get the most hits? Do you notice any trends?

What do you as a reader do? Do you read whenever there is a new post or do you usually leave all new posts to the weekend and read through them? I'd love to hear your personal readership habits.

I get most of my hits during the hours of 10pm and 1am. Which I have always kind of thought was funny! I didn't actually think about it, but I don't have a subscription option on my blog. Guess I should change that. Ha.

I get a little less traffic on the weekends, but it stays pretty consistent.
I just added Google Analytics to my site last week (I also use SITEMETER.) I use Twitter to get my post out, so it depends really on the topic of my blog post. In May I wrote about the Lost finale, and the got 3,000 hits. I've never seen that much sucess on any other post.

I've never really paid much attention to what days get the most hits. Mainly because I feel with my blog, it matters about the topic.
I have a stat tracker, but I've never really looked at trends. I just seem to get a lot of views on days I post and then there are the random days when the views skyrocket for no good reason. Personally, I read blogs almost every day, but I follow A LOT so my reader is always full. If I've gone a few days without reading any, I will usually just 'clear all' so I can start fresh with the new posts that come in because it will be too cluttered and confusing for me to try to go back to the old posts.
I check my comments daily and usually respond to EVERYONE I'm a follower of at least once a week. It's nice to sit down and do it all once. I find it relaxing, like reading a magazine. :-P It seems that more people visit my blog during the night. Considering I am a profuse night owl, I am one of those people who leave you comments at 3:30 in the morning.
I look at it occasionally. I find that people read my blog Mon-Fri and not on weekends...I dont post on weekends, tbh! I get a HUGE number of hits and followers after hanging out in the chatrooms or posting a lot of the forum.
I mostly get traffic during the week, and the weekends are pretty mellow.
However as a reader I go through a lot of blog articles on Sunday when I have the time.... or some weekday mornings when I have time.
I track through...um, Site Meter and later, Stat Counter. I signed up for both to see which I liked better, but rarely check either one.
I check once in a while.
I don't post on a regular day of the week, so whatever day the post goes up has a huge spike in readers. Then it just tapers down until the next post goes up. I'm always surprised to see how many people are reading my blog.
I read blogs whenever I have a few minutes. I check the ones I follow as soon as they post.
I check my stats every now and then. I'm afraid if I get too into checking my stats my OCD will go crazy and I'll start pulling my "spreadsheet stats princess" routine. It's bad! But I have noticed that I get the most hits on Mondays and within an hour or so of posting a link on 20sb or Twitter. My weekend numbers (especially Sundays) are horrible. Also I get quite a bit of search engine traffic from foreign countries.
I tend to only really catch up on posts when I about making a new post myself. Its more a convenience thing, and helped by my relative lack of followers and blogs I follow. For my part its all pretty casual and slap dash- I tend not to track readership and what not. If people comment, great, if not, no biggie. I think I tend not to post particularly comment-worthy stuff anyway :p
