The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I used to password-protect my blogs to make sure that parents and other family members didn't read - I loved my privacy! But, as I've gotten "older" (ahemahem) I've realized I don't really have much to hide, so I let it "all hang out".

Does your family have access to your blog?

What about boyfriends/girlfriends? Do they read your posts?

Everyone has access to my blog, but I'm pretty positive my parents don't read it. I wouldn't have a problem if they did, I just don't think they think about it. My husband does (I force him!), and a few friends, but mostly it's people I don't know at all. I kinda like it that way.
I don't even think my family members know how to find my blog although I have sent it to them. A surprisingly large number of my friends apparently read it though but never comment...gotta watch what I say!
I let everyone read my blog. I feel like if I'm going to put forth the effort in writing out my feelings I might as well share them. As offensive as I can be sometimes I know I piss people off but I try not to. If you do something to piss me off though, don't think I wont write about it. Hens my last entry about my psychotic roommate. http://bit.ly/pKGb6
My family reads it. I'm very direct and open with my mom and sister so I don't mind. But I sometimes post NSFG (Not Safe For Grandma) stuff...
My relationship escalated partially thanks to my blog (actually, both my and my boyfriend's blogs). We had lengthy online conversations complementing our lengthy real-life conversations and that worked well!

I draw the line at co-workers (although some ex-coworkers read me now).
The women in my family do but the boys could case less. It's all good. Mine is about getting healthier by dancing so it doesn't hurt my feelings one bit. The ex-husband reads it though and that irks me. He uses it to try to re-establish a connection.
My blog is very public. I link new posts on my Facebook profile and also have people from work and family following me on my blog through FB. There are many good things about that. People get to know me in a more intimate manner. And since I'm a very private person in public, it allows them access to me in a different way. I really don't regret it at all. Sure, there are some posts I can't write and some issues I can't talk about but those times are few and far between.
My mom blogs too and we share links and I actually get some traffic from it. And we have more to talk about. O think that private things should be kept in a notebook. It is easy to slander someone anon but it is still slander.
I have nothing to hide. My blog is public and is even linked on my Facebook. It started off as a way to keep family updated about my son and morphed into a personal/family blog that I pretty much obsess over. It's not anything fancy, but I love to write, so I take pride in keeping it updated and letting whoever wants to read what I have to say.
I didn't tell them I have a blog yet,they are very sarcastic, maybe one-day i will
I've had bad experiences with friends/family reading my blog, so i try my hardest to keep them away from it. I don't use my real name on my blog (I go by Girl or Lissy) and I don't use real names - I use nicknames, initials, etc. I wouldn't be upset if certain people read it, but I have friends who take things WAY too personally and would assume everything was about them. So typically I don't show it to friends.
I'm on the fence about this one! My boyfriend loves the whole blog thing, but I don't know how much more open to be than that.
Well my blog is public, I don't think too much of family reads it though. As for my boyfriend, he likes that I have a "hobby" so he can hog my PS3, but I think he only reads in when we are both on "time out" his way to see what I think he did wrong so we can fix our "time outs" faster lol. Other than that I don't think he reads my blogs.

Whatever I say in my blog about family and friends is pretty much what I would say to their face so no sense in hiding it.
