The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I used to password-protect my blogs to make sure that parents and other family members didn't read - I loved my privacy! But, as I've gotten "older" (ahemahem) I've realized I don't really have much to hide, so I let it "all hang out".

Does your family have access to your blog?

What about boyfriends/girlfriends? Do they read your posts?

I'm not close with my side of the family. At all. So no and I doubt they could find my blog anyway. :P

My wife, well, she doesn't really HAVE to read my blog. I'm always like "Ooo, I'm posting this! Oh and this! What do you think of this blog post?" etc. or I just mention "I'm blogging about my sisters" or "I'm blogging about job searchin'" ;P She has full access to my blog.

Her side of the family aren't really interested in blogs, so no, they don't read it.
LOL! I love some of these answers! Most of my family knows about my blog, and those who do either love it or could care less.... there isn't enough "HYPE" about blogs, unfortunently. Thats why I love this site. People who care will read... and will follow.
For awhile, I was even feeding my blog to my Facebook. I didn't mind it until I realized my mom reads EVERY.SINGLE.POST. When I posted something about not understanding why people are embarrassed about buying condoms, my mom sent me a message about it.

Since then, I've stop feeding it to my Facebook. I'm pretty sure that most of the people I know in real life were only reading my blog feeds in my notes section and if they do take the time to actually visit my blog then fine.
I know for sure my brother and his wife read it. My BF is forced to. I just recently found out that a couple of my real life friends read it too. But mostly, my readers are those that found my blog through 20SB or through other blogger feeds.
Yes, my family has access to my blog. I don't realy know who visits, other than my sister--she visits daily and talks to me about what I post. My boyfriend doesn't read my blog regularly, but he does browse it every once in awhile.

Some of the stuff I write might have embarrassed me if my family saw it when I was in my teens, but I'm not using the internet to confess my inner demons, so they're welcome to it. It doesn't bother me if I can't write about something (this typically has to do with annoying situations with my boyfriend's family--even though I don't think any of them would ever find my blog), because I just think about the consequences that I'd much rather not deal with.
they sure do not. it would cut down on my content, if they did. haha.

I told my boyfriend he could read it, even invited it but he doesn't care to read about himself I guess lol. I would not want anyone in my family to read it due to my more explicit archives. A lot of my old posts that involve people or could hurt are now password protected.
Nope - they don't even know it exists
When I started my blog, I shared it with my mom to stay in touch with my life in Chicago. I totally regret that because as my blog evolved, she didn't like all the stuff she read. It's very frustrating. I just found out my dad/stepmom read it too. I was foolish to think that they would never find it but it was still upsetting.
My dad reads my blog every day, which cracks me up because I am not always father-friendly. That said, the man loves me and he has a great sense of humor about how ridiculously open I am with my life.

And if I know I am writing about something he doesn't need to see I usually post a disclaimer, like I just did today.

So, I'm like you - I feel like I have nothing to hide!

And my exes entire family (both sisters and mom) read my blog daily too, which I just love! There is so much love and support there it makes me smile, and even though he and I didn't end the greatest, they are all still completely on board with me being a single mom. It's really kind of nice!
My boyfriend reads (more like catches up) and I know of a few friends and other family members that do. For this reason alone I never mention names when I'm upset with someone only when I say good things about them (sad i know) As you posted I don't have anything to hide. I've always been blunt about everything. But it's not like i post about anything really "bad" I'm pretty much a good girl.

If I do want to write something quite mean.. I save it as a draft and never post it. Writing is the best way to let my feelings out.

Not sure why anyone would want to read it. I find myself to be quite boring. hehe
My fiance reads mine, and occasionally my dad, too, but most of my family/RL friends don't read it.
