The Bloggers With The Most To Say
dude. stop making looking for new blogs/readers/followers/unicorns posts
All of the actual good posts are being buried by people only concerned with self-promotion.
Here are some tips on how to find blogs and people:
- hitting up the introduction forum and actually reading the threads
- just participate in the forums and check out interesting people's profiles
- use the search and use the groups to find specific types of blogs and people you might be interested in
- profile hop!
And for the love of Gaga, please post in the right category! Not everything belongs in this category. Use the drop down box when creating a new topic.
Sorry if that comes off as mega bitchy, but all the time time I spend in the forums now is cleaning this up and feeling like I'm yelling at people because they aren't pay attention to directions. That isn't fun for anyone.
Also, if you have anything to say to the admin team and the big guns in charge? Post in here and I'll pass it along.

"Blog whoring" is EXACTLY what it is so I don't know why everyone's boo hooing about the term. Also, there's an Urban Dictionary definition of the word blog whore, and everyone knows that Urban Dictionary is the end-all, be-all of truth, no?
And to everyone complaining --- don't you want people to want to read your blog? Because when you post link after link in the forums pimping yourself out and adding no input to anyone else's discussions, NOBODY is going to click on your links or your blog.
Maybe if people would take the time to contribute to actual discussions instead of commenting on a thread that has NOTHING to do with Fall with, "I LOVE fall! Want to read about how much? Click here!" they might actually make some friends around here like the rest of us.
I'd also like to add that the whole point of this website is to give 20somethings a place to say what's on their mind, even if it is off the wall. We have a lot of fun in the chat and in the forums, but people who are spamming on a regular basis really take away from that. Jamie got her point across just fine. No matter what, there will always be someone who is offended. You can't please everyone. Get over it. We are all in our 20s, and we should be able to handle this concept by now.
Also, I've been reprimanded on this site before, and I'd just like to say that Jamie is one of the best on here at reprimanding in a nice, albeit silly, way. ; )
Sorry if this sounds snarky, but it's annoying watching people jump all over Jamie when there are TONS.... and I mean, TONS of us who are irritated by this on a regular basis.
@Everyone - please direct your anger at Jamie in this direction because I stand by everything she said twice. Including the blog whore reference.
Or maybe we could all direct our anger at Lindsay Lohan?
