The Bloggers With The Most To Say
So BooyaBobby, Diva Boob and I were in chat (you know that little box in the bottom right) discussing Google+. I said I find it confusing, boring and also I can't figure out who these Eastern European people are that keep following me. Bobby rather likes it.
So place your vote: if you can only have one which would you rather have Google+ or Facebook?
Permalink Reply by Melissa Brander on January 4, 2012 at 11:35pm I like Facebook better personally. I think Google+ might have a niche, but I know Facebook now, the ins and outs and that's where I have my base of friends and family. And to be honest, not many of them are even interested in Google+. It would take too much work to convince everyone that's important to me to switch over. I've spent time building my network on Facebook and I don't want to do so again with another social network that doesn't really seem, at this point, to have anything that really sets it apart in a way where I'm like "I have to have this!"
Permalink Reply by cooper on January 5, 2012 at 12:29am I use Facebook for family only so it's best for that, Google I have not explored at all though i use it for mail and documents.
Permalink Reply by Kendi L. on January 5, 2012 at 12:21pm I've been on Google+ since July and I've logged in may 6 times, including the 1 time I logged in yesterday... to delete my profile. I haven't even deleted my Myspace profile yet (granted, I haven't logged in n years) - that's how badly I hate Google+.
So, Facebook. Hands down.
Google+ has more creepers than Myspace ever did.
Permalink Reply by Chiara Mazzucco on January 8, 2012 at 12:55am I like playing on FB more.. But I have to say.. The hang out feature on Google+ is pretty awesome. I got invited into one today and got asked to do 2 interviews. As a marketing tool, I'd say Google. Facebook is a place for people to go and take their shoes off and chill. So when I want to do that, I choose FB 100x over.
So I guess it just depends what you want it for! I hate, hate, hate having to learn a new platform. I feel so outdated and old (being 25).. ::What's a circle? Did you just plus 1 me?:::
Permalink Reply by Robin on March 19, 2012 at 5:50pm I hate Facebook but I'm hesitant to switch over to anything else. I think that eventually, all of these sites will end up trying to create similar features. The things that annoy us on one site today will probably be on another site in the future. Consider Facebook: it was once used by a more mature, intellectual crowd. Now there is as much junk as there was on MySpace, back when that was popular.
