The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Okay, I'm a bit behind on times. What exactly is Feedburner? I figured out that it has something to do with your feed and stats. But does it "replace" my other feed? Do I need redirect all my subscribers? What fancy things can I do with it? Is there anything else I should know or is super exciting about it?

Feedburner allows you to get some stats on who is subscribed etc. You can also use it to add google adense to the feed and a few other cool things like allowing people to subscribe to your blog via email.

Feedburner reads your blog's rss feed, you then publish the feedburner rss feed on your website instead of the built in one like wordpress etc has. Probably best to let your readers know of the new rss address and update the links on your site.

I've found it useful to see how many subscribers I have but that's about it. Seems everybody use's it though so has to be worth it right....
Thanks! The website didn't really explain a whoke lot.
No problem, it was a bit confusing for me and I work in IT :)
I think the nicest thing about Feedburner is it allows you to make a free mailing list. Then people can subscribe to your RSS feed and have your new posts delivered straight to their e-mail's inbox.
