First, if you don't know what the Faroe Islands are: they're a TINY archipelago in between Iceland and Scotland, in the North Atlantic ocean. They have a total population of 48,000 spread out across 18 islands. The largest town has 15,000 residents.
They are fishers, sheep-farmers... and that's about it.
BUT... it's also the most beautiful place in the world (so says tourists and the National Geographic -- and, as a photographer, who am I to argue with them?!)
Anyway, I leave on Monday (13th July) and I get back on the 30th. I'll mainly be posting photos on my blog, but I'm sure some fun stories will crop up too, if I get a chance to write!
If you want some idea of what it looks like, check this entry here:

After this weekend, all future entries on the main page (
http://blog.mrseb.co.uk) will be from the Faroe Islands themselves!
I'm very excited about the trip and the photos I'll be able to take. Feel free to follow the fun that I have there :)
