GIMMIE YOUR STUFF!!!!!!!!

hey y'all!
when i first started blogging, a few of the bloggers i read had done a small swap. i was intrigued, and always thought it was such a cool idea!!!
i''ve always wanted to participate in something like this, but never really took the initiative...
so why not now?

im wondering if any of y'all are intetested in doing a "stuff swap"
i'm thinking there could possibily be a theme (or not) like whatever you mail to your swap partner is local to you?
(i.e. i'm from new england so maybe i could send something beachy, etc)
or whatever kind of theme....suggestions absolutely wanted.
i also thought it was a good idea to put a price limit so that everyone got presents that were just as nice.

so yeah...anyone interested????? once i figure out if there is any interest and read any suggestions, then i will absolutely organize it!!!!

yes, once the weekend is over and we close the whole sign up process, then i will ask everyone to email me their addresses. During this time, I will use a randomizer to figure out who will be mailing to who. and then i will email everyone with the address and webpage for the person they are going to mail stuff too.

that sound okay to everyone?

okay for those of you who got a message from me already, i'm sorry you're reading this twice.... for everyone else: because you haven't accepted my friend request yet....i cannot send you a message on here. so hopefull you all can read this,,,,
here is the message i just mailed out:

hello everyone,
its erin from www.erinuncensored.wordpress.com...i'm writing about the stuff swap which you told me you'd be interested in participating in.

i figure that everyone who wants to participate has had ample time to sign up, so registration is closed and the fun is about to begin. here is what needs to be done now.

i'd like everyone to email me (either on here, or at erinuncensored@gmail.com ) their home address (or whatever address they would like their stuff mailed to.)

originally i was thinking i would pair everyone up and simply email you each other's email addresses and i figured you could coordinate it yourself. the problem with that though is that it is kind of limiting. you have the chance to get to know more people if the person you recieve stuff from and send stuff to are not the same person.

so if everyone can email me their address, i will then use a randomizer to match you all. then i will send you each the name and address of the person you will send stuff to. a DIFFERENT person will send something to you. get it? i know i am rambling.

anyway, i figure it is a good idea to pick a theme. i'd say we can have two themes and you can each pick which ever one you feel most comfortable with. so either send something that represents YOU or something that represents WHERE you are from.

i think there should also be a price limit. i would suggest spending no more than 20 dollars on what you are giong to send. but you all do whatever you feel comfortable with. i'd also like to suggest a time line. i'm hopping everything goes smoothly and we can all mail out or packages no later than 11/5/09. does that sound reasonable?

if you have any thoughts let me know. and please try to send me your addresses as soon as possible so that we can all get a nice little surprise in the mail soon!!!!
