Give yourselves some props.

So, like most people on here, I'm assuming you like to read other people's blogs. I often click on people's pages and check out their goods. I don't know about you, but I try to write at least 4-5 times a week, and although I never post anything I don't feel good about, I do have a few blog postings that I'm particularly proud of.

What I want are your own, personal favourite blog postings. Pat yourself on the back. Toot your own horn, damn it! I'm not saying I don't want to see the rest of your amazing blog...but why not start us off on something you really like?

I was lucky enough to make the Wordpress.com "Freshly Pressed" page with this entry. It was an account of my lost wallet written about five minutes after I had finally found it.

However, I'm a word-nerd, like many of you I'm sure. One of my big pet peeves is when people, especially the media, create really annoying hybrid words because apparently it's "cool", "wacky" or "hilarious". Ironically, I am also starting to hate sarcastic quotation marks. We need a sarcastic font, STAT. Anyway, I decided to preempt some of these asshats by developing a rather comprehensive list of annoying, trendy new words we can use based on the word "texting". Here's my own horn toot.
