Hi Becca, I regularly feature Guest Bloggers on my site - there's at least one a week - and the response is always great from the readers. If nothing else, it gives them a break from my ramblings, but it also means that the blog has lots of diverse voices. I'm always looking for contributors, so if it's something you're interested in doing, check it out here.

I have never guest blogged anywhere, but it's a good way to help promote other blogs and build relationships between blogs, too! Why not try out My Blog Guest - you will get plenty of varied experience from both the sides (guest blogging and accepting guest posts).

I've had a few guest bloggers in the past (friends, bloggers I follow and even had a fun collaboration with my boyfriend to review 10 sex books- part 1, part 2), but I haven't had any in a long while.It's fun to expose your readers to different voices and perspectives or just meet other people/discover new sites or interests.

 

I'm a magazine writer in NYC, but I don't think I've guest blogged yet. I'd like to someday. Right now I just redesigned my blog, Dry As Toast, and narrowed down its focus so I'm looking to include more interviews and guest posts with creative types, writers, artists, travelers, etc. My blog is pretty fun, laid back with a touch of sass and topics covered include arts, New York City, relationships, travel and lifestyle.

I've always been interested in doing some guest blogging! It seems like it will be a cool thing to network and to get to know the blogging atmosphere...especially for newer bloggers. I am definitely interested in doing a guest blog for people or having people do some for me... I am lacking ideas a lot!
