20sb is celebrating their 5th birthday this year. It seems like only yesterday our amazing community was toddling around and pooping in its pants. Or something.
POINT IS: We are excited! And we hope you all are too, as this is not only a celebration of the five years past, but of all the amazing things we have planned for the future. Now, a reminder and a question.
Reminder: 20sb is celebrating with a blog carnival, sponsored by GlassesUSA! If you've never participated in one, the premise is simple: write a post on your blog answering the question provided by 20sb. Submit your link to 20sb and we'll compile a list of everyone who has participated. As an added bonus, five winners will randomly be selected and will win a free pair of eyeglasses.
In addition, blog carnivals are a great way to drum up some traffic on your blog and to connect with other 20sb'ers.

Now, Question: Whether you've joined recently or have been with 20sb for most of their 5 years, share your favorite 20sb memory or your favorite thing about the site.
I have so many "memories" on 20sb so I'm picking two because I'm a cheater.
1.) The 20sb Summit. I had so.much.fun. I'm so glad I was able to go and meet so many fellow bloggers and prance around Chicago and listen to wise bloggers. I'll be telling the stories of the Summit to any who will listen for years to come, from walking into the first session late (...whoops) to not a person moving when Dshan officially ended it. Good times all around.
2.) On the site, I'd have to say the one time Sara and I were in chat with Dshan and we were joking about our crush on him. But we were really commiting to it. Hardcore. I think Sara said she wanted "a slice of Dnug pie." It was all hilarious until we realized that his girlfriend at the time WAS IN CHAT. WE HAD NO CLUE.
We apologized profusely for inappropriately slobbering and stuff, but the shame. Oh, the shame.
The group of girls I email every single day, that I love madly and that have helped me through some of the hardest times of life, I met through 20sb. I'm forever grateful to this site for bringing together the Nipclique. :)
I had such a ridiculously fun and amazing time at 20sb Summit. That entire weekend tops my list of epic/favorite 20sb memories.
Aside from that, I'll also +1 chat and all the awesome people I have met here who have kept me sane this last year.
My favorite 20sb memory is definitely the first year of Bloggers in Sin City. I haven't been able to go again, but 2008 was a KILLER trip. I had a blast soaking up the sun with some of my new bffs.
And yes, the Summit. Absolutely. And all the snark at the Summit. #teamsnark
Is it obnoxious for me to continue adding a "+1" to comments about the Summit? Yeah? Well, I am doing it anyway.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, 20sb! There's not a lot I wouldn't do for you!
I have a few amazing 20sb-related memories!
1) The time I played charades in chat with Kisekae, Bobby, Mel, Alex, Kris, and Kelvin. I mimed things on twitvid, people sent me suggestions via PM on chat. Kisekae made me mime 'your sex is on fire'.
2) The time i met Nicole Sweeney and Nugs in New York. SO MUCH AWESOME. It gave birth to the brilliance that is Yvonne LeHead.
3) I LOVED when Brett (Slightly Disappointing) started the Dead Alive thread and Sara, Lor and I pretty much commented the CRAP OUT OF IT, and LOLed/GAGed our way through it in chat.
4) When Owen did an incredible interpretive dance number (on video!) for my 'Dance! Dance! vlog competition. In fact, when so many 20sbers did and submitted some amazing, hilarious, wonderful Happy!Dances.
BIG LOVE, 20sb. BIG,BIG,BIG love.
I'm so sad I missed sex on fire, though it's practically 20sb legend now.
I'm still sad I wasn't in New York.
AND YES THE DEAD ALIVE THREAD. I can read that thing on the worst day of ever and instantly feel great. It was so much awesome. MAN. I think I'm going to tell my future hypothetical kids about how great that was.
Happy b-day 20sb:
OH MY GOD HOW IS THIS THE FIRST TIME THAT I AM SEEING THIS AND WHERE THE HELL WAS I WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND I REGRETWHATEVER LIFE CHOICES I WAS MAKING INSTEAD.
There's a post (2 actually) that has videos of a number of 'old' 20sbers dancing their Laura Linney in Love,Actually Happy Dance.
It's password protected, but for this 20sb celebration... I'm happy to share the password with those who want it :)
This video was a myth for a long time but then I think it was Lily that refound it and changed all of our lives.
I feel as though we need to do a community Dead Alive watch again.. and live tweet the crap out of it. Get the 20sb twitter account into it and everything.
TWEETING DEAD ALIVE. HOLY MOLY.
oh god I remember the first time I saw this video. AMAZING ha ha.
