The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Yeah, that was pretty fucking awkward. I got the "alcohol runs in your family" lecture, classic.

I share my blog on purpose. My mother read a post and asked "who wrote this?"
I was like, "mom, are you serious? It's my blog, I wrote it!"
To which she replied, "oh, I'm impressed. I didn't know you could do that."

Tell me... What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Thanks for the loving support, mom.
Lol, gotta love the fam. Little did you know mom, that I am a bloody fantastic writer.

Moms always know juuuust what to say, don't they?

My parents have not read my blog, though quite a few members of my family have followed along with the NaNoWriMo posts I've been putting up. If my dad read it I don't think there'd be any concern, though if my mom read it, I'd likely be disowned. Good thing she doesn't own a computer.
Good thing technology hasn't completely spread to areas where it should not. My dad would go ballistic I think if he read mine.
I'd be more concerned if my mom got a computer than if she discovered my blog. I don't think she realizes the internet is where Chuck Norris stores all of his porn.
Yes, my mom actually follows my blog. I don't write anything seriously scandalous anyway, so I guess it's no biggie. :o)
Haha yeh my mum seems to read it regularly, she never comments on posts (thank God!), but usually she'll mention something I've written when I talk to her. Once she said "I read your new blog post today. Have you run out of things to talk about?"...ouch.
HAHA, why are moms soooo supportive of us? Gotta love it.
This is a good question! I'm wondering what more people will say. I actually haven't shared my blog with anyone I know in real life just yet.. I'm sure I will eventually, but as far as parents go, I don't know. I was thinking about if I every move out of the country or travel and want to keep my parents updated, it might be a good idea, but then who knows if they'll go back to read old posts (where I've potentially written scandalous things?) haha.
Thanks Christina! I asked it because my mom knew I had one and found it and then proceeded to take me outside of our house and lecture me about how future employers would find it and how she thinks I have a drinking problem. Whoops. Parents are definitely a touchy subject.

I solved that by making sure mine isn't open to be found in search engines. However I did find when I googled my own name once to make sure that my blog couldn't be found, I discovered that every one of my posts from the forum discussions on 20sb showed up in the search results.
