I know it's correct because it works in other places, but when I plug it in here, it just comes up with "A problem occurred retrieving this RSS feed." When I used some HTML to put a feed in the text box of the profile, it just doesn't work. No error message or anything, it just looks as if nothing happened at all. Again, I know the HTML is correct, because it works in other places. Help?
Out of curiosity, I tried your feed on my profile page and encountered the same problem.
Your RSS feed validates, at least according to the W3C validator, so it's at least formatted according to specification. My best guess, though, is that Ning (the platform 20SB uses) is panicking thanks to the horrendous level of Microsoft Office markup I can see in your posts. (Either that, or Ning just doesn't like that weirdly-formatted table, and will behave just fine once you post enough to get it out of your feed.)
I'm assuming you write your posts in Microsoft Word, and that's fine, but do yourself a favor and run them through some sort of cleanup utility before you carry them across into the post field. I know you're not using WordPress, so the TinyMCE "Paste From Word" feature isn't a good suggestion, but you should be able to find another utility, either web-based or desktop-based, that can handle the cleanup for you. Another suggestion would be to try writing using something like Windows Live Writer (if you're using a recent Windows PC) or WriteRoom (MAC)/Dark Room (PC) instead of Word.
Haha, you're absolutely right, I'm copying and pasting from Word. It never seems to mess with Google Reader, though. Anyway, thanks for the help! I'll track down a web-based cleanup utility and hopefully that'll fix it
