The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Okay, so I actually get down there quite frequently, but I feel as though I'm always doing the things I'm most familiar with. Any suggestions for stepping out of my cajun colored box?

Thanks!

If you go there frequently, then maybe you know it already, but I'd recommend Port of Call on Esplanade, a little removed from the French Quarter and more touristy parts. Order nothing other than a burger (which is large and comes with an equally large baked potato) and a Monsoon. The Monsoons are delicious and therefore deadly (they're made of rum, rum, rum, rum and a fruity mask). I managed to do a lot of underaged drinking when I was in NOLA on my first trip, and after TWO Monsoons (like everything else, they're large), I was motioning quite confidently to the bartender to give us another round. According to my dad, this never happens, but the bartender gave us this mistake of a round on the house. Cool place. Great t-shirts. (You get to keep your Monsoon cups!)
i've actually never heard of it and i was def salvating reading about it. I cant wait to visit! thank u so much!
Go the the bayou! GET ALMOST EATEN BY A GATOR! Trust me! I did it and it was fun :)

Someone is coming to visit me in my sad little state!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When are you making the trip?
haha i love ur sad little state and envy you for living there! I'll be down in January, but day dream about being there every day. Blogger meet up prehaps?
Perhaps? I say DEFINITELY. Plus it's right after Christmas, so prices shouldn't be too expensive since travel will be down! Win!
