Hello, Everyone..I need some of your advices, and it's actually the first time I posted a discussion ( yay ).
I'm in college but I work in an event organizer / party organizer, we usually made a party every week. Aside being a live PA there, I'm also in the creative team. I usually made the concepts too. In February, we have two parties to throw ( so far ) in 2 different clubs.
These two clubs are two new clients of us so the concepts have to be so fresh and attract tons of people to come. Up until now my mind is blank and I need advices from you.
These past few months, we've done some of these concepts :
- The Sopranos ( Italian and mafia stuff )
- Fiesta En Cancun ( in the summer, latin themed )
- Lost In Maui ( in the summer, Hawaiian )
- Beta House
- Rock n Rolla
- Gossip Girl Party
- Twilight Party
- Boudoir Show
- Masquerade
- etc ( there are a lot, i dont remember one by one lol )
I'm completely stuck with ideas, do you have any ideas?
Anything out-of-season is always exciting: January Beach Bash, Christmas In July, etc.
Murder-Mystery Dinner
Chicago musical theme--sexy murders in lock-up
Pajama Party
Puppies and Kittens Theme to support local humane society with pets on hand
Wild Animals theme to support local zoo
Hot Hot Heroes theme to support local volunteer fire department
You can do Dangerous Liaisons, Alice in Wonderland (Mad Tea Party), Garden of Eden, these are all themes I have done in the past and are always successful :-)
Ok I am also a promoter, so i have a few names of past parties me and my team has promoted and also done.
Our spring party will carry the title TWISTED DESIRE, you could take the desire and spell in In French.
Other names-
Osmosis
French Connection
InterSection
Xtasy
Sexy In Red
Rave
The thing is you will have to determine what your crowd is, and what name will appeal to them the best.
If I knew the crow your trying to appeal to, I could probably give you a real good concept
my crowds are usually in their 20s or olders..college student, young executives..
ill be thinking up a name, as long I figure out what we're going to do there. lol. The main theme, decoration concepts, the gimmicks ( dancers? models? etc ).
well college Kid love spring break parties, My spring party will be in March, we have the concept already, but at my parties people just dance and drink and have a good time, they really not into the other type of things. so its a bit easier for me and my team. As for you, you need concept to bring them in and also the concept but also be apart of the party, so its best you go with some of the one i see mention above, like angels and demons.
Yes, we're booked for a spring party themed in March. All I'm thinking now is the gimmicks. And not just decorating the place with spring-ish items.
ps. Actually people here mostly do come to dance and drinks too. But so many event organizers, so many clubs. We have to be able to compete and bring something more to the table.:(
How bout Pirate's Night? People will come in their pirate's costumes and then you guys can put up beer barrels or something.
Moulin Rouge Party
80's theme party (maybe play songs by madonna, michael jackson, or a little disco)
Casino Royale - James bond theme party, a bit classy, with cocktail drinks

This isn't really a party idea I guess but we've done Live Band Karoke before. It's where there's a live band playing but people karoke that is always pretty fun and has tons of people once it builds up.
