I love shopping and fashion, but I always think that trends look better on everyone else but me. Does anyone else feel this way? I'm tying to step out of the box a little...not a lot...just a little. So, if there are any fashionistas (did I spell that right?) out there who want to give me some advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure if you were looking for advice for NYE out (I might be late on this) but I fall into this exact same catagory; I'm average height and size but somehow the latest and greatest doesn't always work on me. The black boots and dress are adorable, given the winter season (regardless of where you actually live) I would say a silver or cream stylish wrap scarf, silver hoop or straight-design earrings and a matching bracelet would look awesome.

I always think it's better to err on the side of caution when it comes to the latest trends... because trends are designed to come and and go again. It's always fashionable to have basic items, such as a little black dress, plain black heels, dressy jeans, a blazer, etc... classic never gets old.
Thanks for the help! I think I ended up kind of in the middle between trendy and classic. Sometimes I really want to be fashionable and other times I just say screw it...I'll wear what I want.
