Hey, Girls in relationships.... What is your opinion on your guy looking at porn?
Just wondering. I'm not a fan and I ranted a little about it on my blog. The comments I got from women were pretty much the same but there weren't many. It just makes me wonder if all women think that way. What do you think? Does it bother you when you find porn on your guys computer? Do you watch it with him? What's up?

So, I'm not in a relationship now, but when I was I hated it. Not because I didn't think I wasn't enough, but I just hate porn in general. I think its impersonal and disturbing, and speaks to the degradation of society.
My last boyfriend knew this, so tried to at least be sneaky about his porn-watching hijinks.

As long as he admits to doing it if I ask, and isn't denying it, I don't mind it. We don't really watch together. I have never seen it just hanging out on his computer, and I would not want to. I think it's kind of important for people to have personal time for themselves, I guess.

Like many people have already said- I wouldn't care at all if my boyfriend/husband watched porn as long as it wasn't anything illegal [child porn, bestiality]. I wouldn't even mind if it was some weird stuff like the Teddy Bear Costumes porn someone brought up earlier because everybody is allowed kinks and sexual curiosity!
I think it would only bother me if he was being really shady about it, like lying about watching it or freaking out if I found his stash.

I watch it when I want to, so it would by hypocritical to care if my boy looked at it. As long as he's not looking at it instead of playing with me, then it's all good.

It bothers me because porn objectifies women. It also bothers me because it makes me feel like I'm not attractive enough, that I need to be orange and have massive implants to be sexually attractive.

I don't find all porn stars attractive. Most of them look the same. However, there are some girls who I find pretty. When watching it, I don't feel self-confident or inferior to them. I'm really self-confident, feel comfortable in my body, and know I can please my man.
There's quite a few porn stars that don't have implants. They just have a B cup, and they are just as popular or even more popular than the girls with the massive DDD cups. (Example of girls in porn with B-cups: Jenna Haze and Stoya). Jenna won the 2003 AVN Award for Best New Starlet and Stoya won 2009 AVN Award for Best New Starlet. So you can see, you don't necessarily need big titties to be successful in porn.

I could never be with a guy who looked at porn. If I found out my boyfriend was looking at porn I wouldn't stay with him. Not only is it against my religion, but it is very degrading. I realize I sound extreme, but that is my opinion.

My boyfriend can look at porn just not in front of me, while I'm in the room etc. Also- I don't really want to see it or hear about it cause it grosses me out... in his private time though... its whatever.

i don't care if a guy i'm dating looks at porn. sometimes i'll watch with him. i think it's stupid when a girl objects to her bf or husband watching porn.

Men are visual creatures and have a physical need to 'take care of themselves' way more often than girls do. A little porn is harmless. If he expects you to a. look like the porno girls or b. starts wanting you to act it out or c. has an INSANE amount on his computer ............. then it might be time to worry.
But to seriously think just cause a guy is in love with you that he will never think sexually about any other woman is being a fool. It's just animal instinct. Now whether or not he acts on it ..... that is where his more evolved abilities come into play.

I was under the impression that my boyfriend never looked at porn. He didn't have any in his room, and denied ever looking at it on the net. Even when we moved in together - not an ounce of evidence. So I asked him about it and he finally admitted it...
I was so relived!! Here I was, thinking I didn't have a normal boyfriend and I tell you, I couldn't have been happier than knowing he watched it.
He doesn't watch it all the time, and as far as I know he's never watched it whilst I've lived with him - but I really don't care. If I'm exhasusted from work and he needs something else? Then fine - at least then I get some sleep!
