The Bloggers With The Most To Say

As long as we're talking about makeup and profile pics, I'm curious about how you all feel about posting awkward pictures of yourselves. I'm working on an "early morning" post that shows my fresh-out-of-bed look. No makeup. Puffy eyes. Messy Hair. Not my most flattering picture.

Have you done it before? Are you totally confident? Or are you too embarrassed to show your true selves?

(Is this even an issue for anyone else? I'm pretty sure this should be a blogger challenge. "Bloggers Exposed!")

i haven't on my blog yet, since, well i guess i just haven't had a reason to. would i? probably. there's nothing funnier than the "box head affect" my hair has in the morning. and i'm all about being able to laugh at myself :)
UM, I don't know if I could do this. Maybe I should now as a challenge! But I did post my actual weight on my blog once and plan to do it as a way to lose weight. Using public humiliation. I don't know if that's actually working but we'll see. :)
I've thought about doing that too! I'm jealous of your confidence. Maybe I'll work up to the challenge of actually posting my weight. I don't think I've shared my honest weight with anyone since junior high...
What you see is what you get. I like out of bed pictures myself... I've got nothing to hide.
Hmm. Maybe we should start a flickr group with our AM pics. :) Id do it
I think that sounds like a good challenge!
I haven't done this (yet) but I will say that to me, the best "personal" blogs are those which put the blogger out there in his or her true form, uncensored and unashamed, open and honest. We see pictures of celebrities dressed up and camera-ready all day, but for me, the blogs I read are my way of peeking into someone else's normal life, and normal people don't always look perfect. Plus, I think there's something almost therapeutic about not hiding behind makeup. It's refreshing to see. Go for it!
I'm pretty picky about what pictures I leave of myself on my Facebook page actually & I guess now that I think of it on my blog too. I might think about doing this too, it's a really cool concept!
