I'm always curious how people come up with their great blog names. Some are more obvious than others. :) My domain, twenty-eight.org was my second choice (tuesday.org was my first, sadly taken). 28 is the age I think is like, the perfect age. Things are finally settling in all areas of your life (or so I hope..). You aren't too young, you aren't too old. You have a lot of experience but you have so much left ahead of you as well.
My blog is currently called "So.." short for "so... remember that one time?" A phrase my sisters and I often use and just saying that cracks us up sometimes more than the memory we talk about.
I always wish I had a better story for this question because there are so many other creative blog names than mine. Gives me blog name envy sometimes. I came up with my name literally off the top of my head and found a URL that was close enough to the title, "The Everday Adventures of me in the City." But in true me fashion, i was so anxious to get it started that I spelled everyday wrong and had to redo the URL three days in.

My blog/domain is Lianhua.nu (as is most of my usernames on most social network-y things). In Mandarin Chinese, 'lianhua' means 'lotus flower,' which is not only my favorite flower but also has a symbolic meaning to me, as it represents rebirth, growing through the dark and muddy parts of life to emerge even more beautiful than anyone could have imagined. (I have a tattoo of a lotus on my back, even.) I explained it a little bit more eloquently here.
A long long time ago, when I wanted to have a Myspace page just for my writing and keeping in touch with my friends & when I was on an Italian kick, I babelfished the translation for the “hidden one” in Italian and was content with the translation that they gave me which was “Quello Nascosto”. I didn’t want to use my real name nor was I planning on branching out as a blogger. The first part I stuck with but I did eventually begin to gain readers…I don’t exactly remember how but “Quello” became my nickname…Princess was added eventually…Soon, Quello became to represent everything I am as a person. A writer, a romantic, someone with emotional scars and optimistic dreams. It just came to represent everything “me” without me having to use my real name. It became an identity. When I don’t use PQ or Quello, I use “Jordan Q” which is my pen name.
The PQ Nation is a website that is my personal blog but it is also a place for any writer to come and join. I started the website with the support of a few wonderful ladies who have been by my side, no matter what, over the last year. In addition to my blog, on the site, I host pages for anyone who wishes to have their own blog.
In 2003 when I was living in Montreal, three of my closest friends from high school came to town for New Year’s. One night we somehow got into a discussion about how to describe someone who is not the classiest person on earth. We were certain there must be a word for it, but we couldn’t think of what it might be, so “the opposite of classy” became the official term, and since then we have used it to describe each other often.
Since then we've realized that the word is just "trashy" but it's a lot more fun to tell someone they are the opposite of classy.

LOL Ok, the fact that the word you were looking for is "trashy" reminds me of the time I made up the phrase "carpenter up." For everyone else, she blogged it here: http://accordingtokate.net/?p=233
