How did you get your blog name?
I'm always curious how people come up with their great blog names. Some are more obvious than others. :) My domain, twenty-eight.org was my second choice (tuesday.org was my first, sadly taken). 28 is the age I think is like, the perfect age. Things are finally settling in all areas of your life (or so I hope..). You aren't too young, you aren't too old. You have a lot of experience but you have so much left ahead of you as well.
My blog is currently called "So.." short for "so... remember that one time?" A phrase my sisters and I often use and just saying that cracks us up sometimes more than the memory we talk about.

I picked "Lofty Ideas" because I live in a loft apartment in Chicago and I planned to write about design ideas I had for my place. I NEVER write about design ideas now because I don't have enought time to decorate...so I guesss I am just stuck with the name. I like it though!

I was always the one writing notes in class, doodling on napkins, making collages, etc. So it seemed appropriate after 574,892,345 blog name changes, that Love,Shannon was the one. Plus, when I finally get things together for my Etsy shop, it will be the perfect brand name. Because when I'm selling items, I will be selling them with love. <3

My domain name is ifitsnotroughitisntfun and it's from a Lady Gaga song (I know, stop judging me) that goes : "Russian roulette is not the same without a gun, 'cause baby when it's love if it's not rough it isn't fun." I love that line and it makes me grin wickedly every time I hear it, so I picked it as my domain name. The blog title is also the title of that song - Pokerface - and I chose it because in my day to day life I pretty much am pokerfaced when it comes to how I'm feeling and I don't give much away; my blog is my dumping ground for all the stuff going on in my head.

In Junior High my friends and I became obsessed with giving each other nicknames. Mine became Apple Jax. This was eventually shortened to Jax or Jaxie. Another friend in college started calling me Jaxie Fantastic, and so when I decided to start a blog, it became Jaxie Fantastic. I love it, and even though I've had multiple blogs, this is the first one I've felt a real connection to! :)

Hmmm...
My blog name is Muppet Soul.
In short, I believe I have the soul of a muppet.
Not in a frightening kiddish way. I'm not, like, girly or anything... Nor am I bound to be captured by Chris Hansen.
But I do love me some muppets.
The standard by which I judge people is whether or not they are "muppety", you see. As in, are they quirky and can I imagine them made out of foam.

I was moving out and leaving for Taiwan.
It'd been about a month that my roommates had known I was leaving, and it'd been about that long that I even had the opportunity given to me. As I was loading my car - by myself - one of my roomies peeled his attention from his "Fast and Furious" movie and shouted over his shoulder, "Where are you going again? Tokyo Drift??"
"Drift," I thought... "fitting."
So, "The Taiwan Drift" was born in his legacy.

The name of my blog is amapeli. For years amapeli has been my handle on the net, if you google it, almost everything you find will be made by/belonging to/etc me.
Years ago I found this nifty little thing called the Hawaiian name maker, basically, you put in your name and it tells you what it will be in Hawaiian. So, I typed in Amber and it came up with "amapeli" I fell in love. It's been mine ever since.

My friend did that too, for his online handle -- his rather hum-drum name of 'David' became 'Kawe'! Or was it Kawika... something like that!
