How do you use 20sb?
I've been on 20sb for a while now, and I'm interested to know how other people use the site. What is your 20sb time spent doing? What have you found is the best way to connect with other bloggers? What makes finding new blogs, and helping people find yours easiest? How do you use 20sb?

I really only use the message boards. I think I joined some groups back when I first joined the site, but I scarcely make use of that function. For me, it's mostly a social tool -- just a way to talk to other bloggers. As for using the site to find new blogs, the only blogs I really check out are those of people who frequent the forums and say interesting things. If I come across someone several times, I will probably check out their blog.

Oh, and chat. I haven't been in there much during finals hell, but that's also a big part of how I got to know people here. As silly as it may sound, some of my closest friends are people that I met here on 20sb, through a combination of chat, the boards, and checking out their blogs.

I was wondering about the whole chat thing on here. I'm not sure why, but it kind of intimidates me. Maybe it's because it takes me back to the days of anonymous chatrooms of the 90s or something, but I realized this is nothing like that. Right...? :)

I don't either, and for the same reason. Although I think it's more because I'm afraid it will be filled with people having some awesome conversation and I'll come along in the middle of it and everyone will be like 'who the f are you?" and I'll be all "err... nobody..." even though I know this probably wouldn't happen.

Chat's been quiet lately, but do drop by and say hello.
Usually, the conversation is filled with innuendo & the retorts come thick and fast, but none of it is personal. Most chat 'regulars' (oh, how uncool am I?) are really friendly, so please don't be too intimidated to use the chat function! :)

I only jump into chat really infrequently. Partly it's intimidation, partly it's living on the other side of the world and there being no one in the chat when I'm on 20SB! *sad face*

I'm very very impatient and I tend to flit in and out of 20sb or just baout any other community.I'm mostly a lurker and often read the discussions. Then I check out the blogs of people who sound interesting lol .Really,I'm not as sinister as I sound xD
