How'd you choose your profile photo?
I spend a lot of time looking at your profile photos, so I found myself curious as to how you decided on the picture. What's the one trait that made you choose that photo over other photos?

I suppose I can go first. I chose that photo because it's one of the few close-ups I have that was taken by someone else, and because I'm wearing a "That's What She Twittered" t-shirt, so it seemed appropriate as a profile pic for all my social media activities.

I chose mine because a good friend was kind enough to take portraits of me for a college project. I felt the photo was not only one of my better ones, but a great one all together. If you guys are interested she actually has a photography website http://caitlinbrandon.com/. I think I'm on there a few times too. She's got a GREAT eye.

I was taking some portraits to be used on the crew page for the IPTV project I work on, and one of them stood out to me as an avatar for me and what I stand for (doesn't the keyboard give it away?).
I've been meaning to update it, perhaps with a slightly different pose, but I just haven't figured out what I want to do.

I chose mine because it was the best one of me on my computer that did not have some random part of one of my kids in it, like an arm or leg just walking into or out of the picture. Plus, it has my red wall in the background, which I love no matter how crazy it sounds. :)

My profile photos are usually randomly chosen, they can change pretty often if I'm in the mood to bother. I had a different pic up for a long time but thought it didn't show enough of my face since it was a composite of 5 photos so I decided to switch it up a bit.

I'm afraid to say that my reasoning for using the profile photo I do is out of laziness. I needed a headshot when I created a BrazenCareerist profile. So I figured it was a good time to update my old blog profile photo as well. The profile pic I use is just a self-timer snapshot I took with my cell phone. Simple and quick. No resizing or cropping needed...AKA lazy, but works!

i think i recently changed my photo.. i changed it because it's a decent picture of me :P i also changed my twitter to the same photo and i try to be consistent/in tandem when changing photos.

I have a couple. One was one a friend took of me and him at an event I remember well for personal reasons, and I avatarized it, The one most used is actually the head shot from a photo taken on a beach where I was surfing, it's my favorite pastime and I was pretty happy, it's something I don't get to do often enough so I thought it would do.
