The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I just recently wrote a post about how listening to an Alanis Morrisette song on the radio made me feel like an ancient lady all of a sudden....and am wondering if anyone else has had this experience.

Please let me know I'm not alone!  What makes you feel 'old'?

I realized that some guys in the NFL are younger than me...and I felt so old...

I'm only 21.

OMG I feel SO OLD when I watch college basketball. I'm glad to know I'm not alone!! (Also adding insult to injury regarding the NFL players - most of them make more money in a year than I will ever make. So sad, but true. However, I don't have acne anymore, so I win in the category of prettiness!)
I think that too..."He's making $26 million dollars, and I get paid minimum wage..."

blegh

Whitney, yer 21 'kid'. You ain't old, so don't feel old....or else you will feel older than I feel at 25, haha. (I'm just hating--I would kill to be 21 again)

But you bring up a great point. I used to care about college football but now? I don't care about watching a bunch of 18-20 year olds play football. That was one tipping point. Another is when you finally realize that drinking isn't a sport or something that entails some sort of skill or effort. Nowadays, you use drinking as an excuse to meet people. Back when I was 'younger', I would use meeting up with people as an excuse to drink ("Get drunk!").

Another one is when I come across someone who was too young to remember watching the NBA on NBC. Also, when you come across someone who didn't grow up without cellphones or the dial up internet. Anyone who doesn't know the real Nickelodeon. Etc etc etc
The real Nickelodeon! Oh how I miss that! I also miss 'Nick at Nite', and reruns of I Love Lucy....I guess that's from an era gone by, but I really really really enjoyed those reruns of Lucy and Ethel's mishaps! As a kid, I guess I took comfort that some adults make mistakes too.
Betcha they know who Justin Timberlake is though!
I found "Angry Beavers" on netflix for my siblings who are all 10 and younger and they didn't like it because it looked "old"! So no, you are not alone!
what!!! that was back in the day when there were good cartoons on
I hate, hate, hate Blackboard!
::sigh:: I'm 26. Yes, 2-6! Where has the time gone??? I'm the only one of my friends who isn't at least engaged AND most of them have babies. Most of them are also done with school whereas I decided to go back after getting my bachelors degree so I can get another degree in a completely different subject. Since I'm going to a community college for Nursing, the majority of the people in my classes are younger than me and it SUCKS. I feel so unaccomplished. Whatevs. At least I still get carded for rated R movies since I look so young.
I'm in the same boat. 26, no babies, single, carded for rated R movies whatever we rule!
Well, I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years which perhaps makes me feel a little worse!!
