The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I have taken on an incredible challenge. On October 16 - 18th, I'll be walking 60 miles over the course of three days, camping out at night with thousands of other women and men taking this journey with me.

It's for an event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day, which benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. Every advancement in breast cancer research, treatment, education and prevention in the last 25 years has been touched by a Komen for the Cure grant. They are working hard to build a future without breast cancer, and I plan on raising $2300 to help bring us closer to that goal.

Please consider making a donation of even $5. Skip that morning java and consider helping a great cause. I need only 200 donations of $5 or 100 donations of $10 to hit my goal. In a network over 8,000 20 Somethings strong, it's totally possible! If I don't hit the $2,300 goal, I am unable to participate in this years walk. I'm so close guys, every little bit helps!!!

Without a cure, one in eight women in the U.S. will continue to be diagnosed with breast cancer. That's why I'm walking in the 3-Day. Because everyone deserves a lifetime.

Just follow the link below to visit my personal fundraising webpage and make a donation.

Thanks in advance guys!

so, my power was out for an hour and in that hour I received THREE donations! Remember, no amount is too small. If everyone in the network donated just $1 I would exceed my goal by 3 1/2 times!
I've gotten FIVE donations so far! If you can spare a few extra dollars, please consider helping out an amazing cause! Each year I plan on dedicating my efforts to a different charity... this year it's the Susan G Komen Three Day!

I have to raise $2300 to participate! I'm just under $900 away. :)
