I Want to Follow You on Tumblr

Yes, I have created my first Tumblr blog. It will be up by tomorrow. I want to follow other people's Tumblr blogs from here. The more the better.

One quick question. How can I add pages such as an About Me or Follow onto my homepage, so that people can read the bio and know where they can check my Twitter, Facebook, and first blog. Help!

I have a posterous and a tumblr, they are like farts because my other two blogs take whatever time I have, but the links are below. The Tumblr is the first one.

Someone told me that you could tell a lot about someone from their tumblr....that is worrisome ...lol

I have limited info on mine right now, but it is somewhat dependent on the theme you chose, otherwise go to "dashboard" and on the right scroll down a bit it says "customize" click it. At the top you will see a menu, click "appearance" and there will then be places for you to ad that stuff, and it will show up if the theme accommodates it.

I have a Tumblr account: tumblr.mariacelina.net.
However, I only use my Tumblr account as an inspiration dump of things that I find interesting on the internet. It's not really a blog per se, as my domain houses that.

In terms of adding an about page, I think that you write a new text post, and name the post title as "About". Upon publishing, the link would be yourwebsiteurl[dot]com/about. Then you can link it to a sidebar or a tagline or wherever you wish for your about page to be linked. Alternatively, you can also fill out the profile section of your Tumblr, which is in the "Customize" section (as per the suggestion of Cooper). Hope this helps!

I just started one the other day... I haven't been using it much though- its more or less just a random place for me to post links etc. and share the cool stuff i find online since its linked to nearly every account I have.

Wow, I didn't know about that particular "Add Page" function! I signed up for a Tumblr account towards the end of last year, and I don't think the feature was added yet. Either that, or I wasn't observant enough. Thanks for pointing it out; I can finally put that page adding function to use!
