If you could pack up and go somewhere next week, where would you go? Why?
Would you want to live there or just visit? I recently moved from New York city to a Caribbean island for a few months, and now I'm thinking of what could be next...it's overwhelming. I need new ideas, and I'm curious as to what attracts other people to a place.
So if you could go and live anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Probably Canada. I love everything about the country - despite ever going there. My wife and her family went there many years ago and loved every second of it. The scenery, the places, the people. Not only that, but we dream of one day living aboard (on a boat.) And Canada has many excellent places for live aboards.
I would LOVE to visit Japan. That has been one of mine and Jenny's goals for a while now. Same with Scotland. And I'd love to travel to Italy. And Germany. (Not to mention, Jenny is mostly Italian and Scottish with some German, hehe!)
I'd also like to visit Lithuania, as I am 50% Lithuanian. And Romania is still on my "would love to see" list!!!
Next week? I would go somewhere in the carribbean. I LOVE warm weather, the sun, the beach, little drinks with umbrellas in them and it is super cold here right now.
If I could move somewhere, I think I would move to Paris for a while.. I loved it. There is so much culture, so much to do and see and it's a hot spot for Fashion. Totally Paris!
Austin, which is where I live. There is no place greater. I'm originally from NY, lived in LA, a little bit in Chicago and D.C. Austin is unlike any place I've ever been. It's inspiring, it's beautiful, and the people are amazing. It's heaven on Earth, really.
Traveling the world is a dream of mine. I would love to just travel around spending a few months at a time in different places. A few on my list is Egypt, Greece, France, Spain, Italy, Romania, England, Malaysia, and on and on and on!
For traveling, I would go gaga over a trip to Turkey, India and then SouthEast Asia. For just living, London is quite nice... but so would a lot of more of the beaten track places...Rio de Janero, or a smaller city in Mexico. Morroco maybe?
Oh I'd go back to London. Originally from Mauritius - a tiny island in the Indian Ocean, between South Africa and Australia - but been living in London. And now I've moved to the Caribbean...ready to settle down here but oh god! some of the people get on my nerves! The ones I had unfortunately met over here like to gossip a lot and mind my business...*sigh*
Wish you luck though and hope you enjoy your stay...:)
