The Bloggers With The Most To Say

L.L.

I'm 27 and I'm only just starting to make girl friends!

I've always been a guy's girl. I do have some girlfriends, but when I'm looking for someone to hang out with, or someone to vent to, I always call my buddies first, girlfriends second.

So I decided this year, I needed to make more girlfriends, and I actually met two really cool chicks in the past week or so, through friends (and one of those friends was a guy, of course!)

Does anyone else have this issue?

I've always been more of a guys' girl too and I'm 25 now. It's funny because now that I started blogging, I've met some really awesome girlfriends both online and off. I have a pretty good group of friends now and I'm really happy with it :)
Strangely I was the same way except for 2 years, when I moved and somehow ended up with all female friends. Now I'm back to most of my good friends being guys, except for one girl who is still around from when I lived in Germany and had my girl years. I'm working on that too, but I'm not having as much luck as you. I keep ending up with weirdos with husband habits, boyfriend obsessions, etc. I don't misjudge guys that badly so why the heck do i keep having to ditch the crazy girls?
I find it hard to find and make friends as I am hopeless at small talk and most of the time my interests are completely different with other girls my age, so find it hard to think of things to talk about. That is why I love blogging because I have found a blogs by girls who are interested in the same things as me.
Up until recently my guy friend to girl friend ration was 5:1 literally. But recently I now understand why its good to have some girl friends. Guys totally suck at "being there" and getting it from a girls perspective.

Example: My good guy friend of 6 years, slept with my little sister. I know she's 20 and what not and he's 27.

So I'm trying to change things up find more female friends. It's hard though.
I'm more a guy's girl in general (I'm 22)... even after going to an all girl's high school haha. I don't think of it as a problem--more like what my personality adapts to. After two hours of girls only, I just want to stab myself. I do have two girl friends, but they are also the mostly guy-friends type of girls.. so we mesh. =]
thats so weird i was JUST thinking about this kind of thing today! when i was growing up i always had a really really close guy friend. now i don't really have any sort of boy posse friends. and any of my closer guy friends.. they all think like girls anyway.
I'm hopeless at making friends of either gender but somehow I'm always around guys so what does that make me
not a fan of drama or the potential for shallowness?? :)
Yes. I used to be the same way. Still kind of am. But girls are so mean and catty. so thats why I always stayed away. Now I have a very small but close few girls that I talk too. Im always open to making more girlfriends but I keep them at a distance till I think i can trust them because some girls will turn on you in a sec.
Yeah I'm totally with you on that... for sure.
I'm the opposite, I'm girls' girl all the way,I have much more fun hanging with them,I developed better undertanding for their nature, maybe because guys say the truth in your face without any beautify..but when it comes to real friendship it doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl, what's inside that what it's count ..
