The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Next week I am heading for a mini-break with my boyfriend to Paris.

Now i need some advice, we have a hotel near the Arc De Triomphe so what do you recommend to do in Paris?

I have a little budge and my car just died on me this weekend and I've had to shell out ALOT for it, so wheres good to eat? things to see? fun at night?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

agreed.
This is going to sound weird but try to visit Pierre Le Chaise Cemetery. It was a religious experience for me getting to lay a green carnation on the tomb of Oscar Wilde.

Also, eat as much as you can. Yet another religious experience in my opinion. I only got to spend 2 days there, but it was magical. Enjoy it my friend.
oh yes don't you worry I HAVE to go see Jim Morrisons grave site, one of the things i have in mind i just love him! x
One of my wishes in life is to kiss Oscar Wilde's tombstone, next time I'm in Paris it's what I"m doing :)
Yes I went to see it, you can see some pics of it on my blog here : http://cowbiscuits.blogspot.com/2010/08/paris-trip-part-3.html

Just being so close to an icon but not actually being close to them was so weird for me with Jim Morrison like his body was 6 ft under and I'm stood right there....
You HAVE to go to the Marais! That's one of my favorite districts. Good shopping and amazing falafal :)

There's also a store in the city called Merci. SO cool and close to the Marais. You should go there too.

My suggestion for spending little money is just walk around and see the sights. The metro doesn't cost that much, and it's easy to use, so that's how I would get around. The Eiffel Tower costs about 13 Euros (well, it did when I was there in April) but that is something you MUST see. There's nothing like the view of Paris from the top!

My sister studied abroad there and said that the best macaroons are from Laduree. I couldn't have any because I'm allergic to nuts and the base is almond flower, but I did have brunch at Laduree and it was AMAZING.

I am SO jealous that you're going. Paris is my favorite city in the entire world. If I can think of any other suggestions, I'll pass 'em on!

Climb to the top of Notre Dame de Paris during the daytime, and save the Tour Eiffel for night. :)
Absolutely! Such a good idea!! The view from the top is especially amazing at night. Thanks for adding that! :)
