The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Alright ladies and gentlemen, I need your help. One of the things on my life list is that I would watch 10 independent films within the next year. I need suggestions. What independent films do you guys like? Did a particular one really speak to you? Are there any aspiring film makers out there? Because I would totally watch your stuff.

Thanks for the help! Oh, and Happy New Year!

"Let The Right One In" is amazing. It's an edgy Swedish love story of a 12 year old boy and a vampire chick. but it's actually deep, artsy and cool- nothing like tru blood or twilight. Highly recommend it
Haha yes i love good vampire stuff! by good i don't mean twilight lol.
I really love this film called "Broken English." It's a sort of neurotic love story.

"Before Sunrise" is another indie classic.
I LOVE both of these and second this!
I third both of those! I just finished watching Broken English Last week....awesome!
'Irreversible'
'Sex & Death 101'
'Teeth'
'Love Me if You Dare (Jeux D'enfants)'
and recently I feel in love with the film 'A Single Man'.

I love indie films so if you're looking for something in particular (comedy, drama, etc)... let me know =]
Those all seem like awesome suggestions! I'll watch anything except suspense and horror...i'm kind of a chicken shit lol.
I love this goal!

Favorite Indie Comedies/Dramas: (I linked these from Netflix, not thinking that you might have to sign in first to look at them. Sorry!)
Rocket Science
Me You and Everyone We Know
Lars and the Real Girl
Wristcutters: A Love Story
Death at a Funeral
Little Voice

Favorite Indie Documentaries
King of Kong
Nerdcore Rising
Crazy Love

I'm definitely going to check out Broken English!
I think I'm just going to make my goal 20 or 30 because all of these look great!
I love Juno and 100 Days of Summer <3 I could watch them over and over again!
You just need to find a cinema near you that plays fantastic things, and this goal will be no problem at all!

My first favourite indie that comes to mind is called Young @ Heart- it's about a senior citizen choir that sings rock songs. Here's the trailer.
I loved Young at Heart! It was so sweet and hilarious.
