So I've recorded a short video for my blog on my Nano but I have no idea how to get from my iPod to my computer. Much less into a format that would be compatible with a Wpress blog or Youtube.
Seeing as I don't own an iPod Nano, I can't vouch for the validity of the steps listed in this guide, but they might be able to point you in the right direction.
I'm not sure offhand what format the iPod will record in (knowing Apple, it will probably be MP4, but then again part of me wants to say that because of the camera, the videos are recorded in 3GP format), so your next steps may vary. And, depending on where you want to host your videos, you may or may not have to transcode your video into another format before uploading it to your video provider of choice, too.
I'd recommend looking into a YouTube or Vimeo account, though WP.com (which you're using at the moment) supports embed shortcodes for a laundry list of media providers, so you should be able to find someone you like. (I'm a Vimeo fan myself.)
I highly recommend converting the video before you take it to web, though. Apple movie recording tends to be in stuff like M4V and is kind of a pain for web. If you've got a way to convert the video to .MOV, .FLV, or .WMV, those tend to get along better with upload sites like YouTube. Or as Nick mentioned, Vimeo is pretty great.
