The Bloggers With The Most To Say
So I'm thinking it's time for me to take the plunge and go on birth control again...
I used to be on the pill, but wasn't all that pleased with the side effects... so I'm wondering ladies- what are you using and are you loving it?
Give me some suggestions! :)

Apparently it's pretty brand spanking new - it has different doses of different hormones on different days. And only a 2 day period, to boot. I'm on my third month, and have liked it so far!

Permalink Reply by M. on December 23, 2010 at 6:36pm I'm in the same boat, been on the pill since I was 13. I take Marvelon 21; was on Apri last year because our government will only pay for generic medication, and not name brand... Apri made me miss my period of six months. I seriously thought (so did my gynecologist) that I had cancer. Tests came back fine and she found out that four of her patients had the same issue. Now I'm back on Marvelon.
I only have my period twice a year. My mother still thinks that's not good.

Permalink Reply by PrettyPrincessXo on December 23, 2010 at 4:34pm I did the pill but I did Yaz & loved it! I tried off-brand pills and they made me sick. I have multiple friend that did the Depo shot (3 times a year? I think?) But most of them gained weight on it.
I also did the patch and really liked it, I had to put it on my hip because on my butt it would peel off from me pulling up and down my pants. and on your hip it can easily be hidden when swimsuit season comes around again.
Good luck!! :)

Permalink Reply by KFun on December 24, 2010 at 3:07pm I was on this for a while....a long while. I gained only a few lbs, BUT I spotted and bled for two months straight. Not Cool. I changed and am happy with my generic version of lo-estrin.
The ultimate birthcontrol? Overnight babysitting.
