My website garners an insane amount of spam, so I'm very grateful for Akismet, which for me misses only about one spam comment or trackback per several hundred I receive. I get varying messages... right now it's a drug phase (valium, cialis, viagra, etc.), but it alternates between that and various messages about animal sex (horse, dog, parrot, you name it, I've gotten spam about it). I have no clue why the sex spam targets me, and one recent one was a mix of the two: "Can dogs take levaquin." WHOAH.

I braved a google search and got this. Looks like a drug meant for humans for lung, sinus, skin and urinary tract infections. NO it is.

Levaquin is an antibiotic that dogs can not take. Haha! Surprised they emailed about a lowly antibiotic when there are so many awesome sex drugs out there.

Guess they are trying to drum up business elsewhere?

I think I've gotten drug spam for everything on my website: sex, depression, sleep aids, colds, cancer. And then right alongside those is all the porn spam. It's an eclectic mix. :-P
