20 Something Bloggers

The Bloggers With The Most To Say

hey y'all-

i try not to send out emails or start discussions about person things happening in my life. i usually only try to ask for help when i really need it, or think its a valuable cause.

so basically, i'm asking for your help. i've witnesses the amazing strength of 20something bloggers over the past year, and i'm hoping y'all will band together and take a moment to do something small for me.

a coworker of mine has been trying to set up a children's museum in our city for the past ten years. he has been dedicated and forged his way through so many obstacles over the past ten years.

now...he REALLY has a chance to make this lifelong goal happen. he is in the pepsi challenge where he can win $250 THOUSAND DOLLARS to start up the Children's Museum. Basically the museum is a traveling museum and he and his crew have been traveling to any event as a "museum without walls" i actually wrote an newspaper article about this museum without walls a year or so ago. basically....THEY FOUND WALLS! everything is coming together for them... now they have a building and now they have a shot.

here is where it gets tricky. right now the FR Children's Museum is in spot #100.

only the top 100 projects will have a chance to win. so i want to make sure this project at least makes it to next month- when they decided the winner.

WILL YOU PLEASE VOTE?

here is the link DIRECTLY to the Fall River Children's Museum page. (www.refresheverything.com/cmgfr) this is where you can vote. i myself had problem voting so let me tell you what to do if you have a problem. go to the bottom left of the page and you will see a link that says sign in or join now.  click on join now and then once you join then you can vote immediately. who knows maybe you won't have any trouble at all. especially because you can vote immediately with facebook.

so hopefully i didn't over explain. the moral of the story is:

this project is something i passionately believe in. please support it. all they need is for you to vote once. (or as many times as you can- but you an only vote once per day)

y'all are the best! love you :)

you can see the article on the front page of our hometown paper here.

I think this is a great idea because it is often the smaller things like this that make a difference.

Done! I voted and promoted it on FB :)
