The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I used to be super skinny & always thought 'If you're fat and you don't like it... work out!'

Well now I am realizing that it obviously isn't quite that easy! I have gained 40 pounds in 4 years (mostly since highschool) I would like to loose 20-25 & my blog has my real measurements, real photos and AMAZING support from my awesome followers.

I am posting this as hopefully inspiration for other people. I do understand it's not easy, I haven't made much progress but I am a real person :-)

I don't eat bad, but then again I don't excercize like I should.

What did you do to lose your unwanted weight?!! I am up for anything!

I'm having the same problem! I weigh the most I have ever weighed, and I feel so uncomfortable with myself. I work out usually 3 times a week, and I eat pretty healthy. It's so frustrating! I guess I need to step it up.....

Anyway. I feel you! I am right there with you!
i recommend looking at your portions. i was in the same exactly situation about 10 months ago. eating healthy is great, but if you're eating too much even if it's healthy, it won't help. also, it helps to replace cardio with interval training.
i also think it would be good to look at your portions. healthy living/eating is not a mystery, it is a science - weight gain/being overweight are the result of caloric imbalance, so even if one is eating super healthy, if you're taking in more cals than you burn, you're in the danger zone!!
I am swimming and working out in the pool. I have a spine injury so I can't run on the treadmill anymore; the water makes it so much easier. With in a couple of weeks, I noticed my thighs are starting to look much much better and I've lost a couple of inches off the waist.
hello swimmer! i mentioned this earlier, but maybe you didnt see it, but i have a blog devoted to swimming and aquatics training if youre interested.
I'm all about...

I've recently lost 10 lbs. in about two months with a vegetarian diet and running 4-5x a week.
When I stopped eating meat, I lost 19 pounds. I also biked everywhere because I enjoyed it (still do, but I don't own a bike!). After about a year, I gained all that vegetarian weight back though. Even 19 pounds lighter, I was the same dress size.

I read an article somewhere that if you think you are getting exercise from cleaning, you will burn more calories. You end up working harder, I guess.
If you're looking for new hobbies to help you with weight loss, I HIGHLY recommend hoop dancing! It's so much fun and really burns off fat.
Wouldn't it be awesome you can lose the weight just as fast as you were gaining it. I would love that.
I'm not overweight, I just feel like I have a gut after having babies. I tend to eat when I'm bored so I've been trying to stop that and exercising everyday. There's a lot of great tips on MSN Health for weight loss, including a BMI calculator, a tool that calculates your metabolism and tells you how many calories to eat per day to lose weight. Check it out sometime. Its helped me a lot!

I swear by drinking a ton of water with lemon in it. It curbs my appetite and helps me digest meals better--I just feel healthier, overall. Do some research on the benefits of lemons and losing weight. I promise it will be worth your while :)
ah interesting! I knew drinking lots of water is healthy but I didn't know about the lemon trick!
