The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Ok, I don't know why I am so outraged by this. People should be able to live their lives the way they want even if they are totally blind lol. Not that I even really give a crap, but I just found out that Spencer and Heidi from The Hills eloped in Mexico last week. I feel so outraged because from what I have seen this Spencer is a awful selfish blood sucking, life ruining carpet face wearing nana's boy twat douche bag, and Heidi is to stupid to realize. Now i'm not gonna lie, it is a gawd awful show, but I watch because I can't believe that this much drama happens to one person so consecutively in a short amount of time, but that's beside the point. I was just wondering how many people stay in horrible relationships, and why? Is it because your lonely? Is it because he/she has the money for you to spend to your little hearts content, or is it simply because he/she has your cd's in his car? (Gotta love Dane Cook lol)

I suppose for some people it's possibly the fear of the unknown? If they leave the relationship, they're scared at what else they might find out there. I guess it can be easy to settle, or to think that's all you deserve. Like in Spencer and Heidi's case - I don't particularly like either of them, but don't understand why she puts up with it, she could probably do a lot better! I guess she's just used to his crap now and can't really be bothered getting used to SOMEONE ELSE'S crap . . .
on the "gut feeling and ignoring it thing" VV mentioned . . . that is sooo true! I am TOTALLY guilty of that. and possibly only just realised it fully . . .
I am very much a I told you so person, so the day when I am flipping through the channels and I accidentally land on Entertainment Tonight and they say Heidi and Spencer brokeup, Im gonna be like HA! I told you so bitches!!...I didn't have this pre-planned or anything lol.
LOL happy as Clinique. Apparently the whole wedding was a sham and now the viewers are all pissed off about it. I don't know because I haven't been watching that much tv. But they are both stupid so I think maybe they deserve each other.
The Hills, as a whole, is a sham but a very entertaining sham that I admit I love to watch when I can.

And if their relationship - Speidi's - is legit than, I think, it's because in part, Heidi doesn't know her worth and the healthy way a person should treat her. Unfortunately, MANY people live in this reality.
It's especially funny as I've read two 20sb'ers blogs regarding spencer in the past couple of days. he obviously brings up a lot of issues in us. the first (from strict shenanigist) reinforced the fact we all hate him, the second (chris from "surviving myself) pointed out spencer makes other guys look good! both very good points, right?
Spencer does suck. A lot.

And that's really all I have to say about that.
I have never really wished for someone to not be on planet earth, but when I think of Spencer I think wow his mom should have swallowed.
1) I think a lot of the crap we see on The Hills is staged.
2) I think people stay in ridiculous relationships for a ton of reasons: they are afraid to be alone, they rely on the person financially, they feel that since they have already invested so much time into it that they should "make" it work, they may not like the whole 'dating game', they might rely on the person for friendship (if they cut all their other friends out of their life to be with that person), they don't have self-esteem, they don't have self-confidence, they don't have self-respect, they might just like the attention they get (media wise) by being part of that duo, it might be that he is all she really knows so she doesn't realize he treats her like crap... there are so many reasons why people stay in relationships that are dysfunctional.... it just varies from person to person.
