The Bloggers With The Most To Say

SOOO many bloggers from cities - East Coast, West Coast, but rarely in between. I began blogging when I moved to a city - D.C., to be exact - but after three years there, I've returned to my home state of Ohio, ready to keep blogging but a bit discouraged. What do Midwestern bloggers write about? Do cool Midwestern bloggers exist? Reveal yourselves - or your favorites!

Hollller! I'm from there, spent all of my life up until last year there! Now I've been drug to Australia... BUT I think they rural atmosphere and tiny towns with antique shops scattered everywhere should inspire something!

If I still lived there I would be all over that!
Hey- I'm also a Buckeye! :) ...and I think I'm pretty "cool" I guess. Haha...I blog a little bit about being a midwesterner, and also a little about "the suburbs." My husband and I love to explore The City, but like living far enough away from all the traffic and crowds. Sometimes, you have to get creative to make midwest life seem interesting, but it's a great atmosphere, nonetheless! Jaimie, I like your idea about antique shops and the like!

Here's a link to a post I did about "exploring!" http://yourstrulyh.blogspot.com/2010/09/my-baby-takes-morning-train...

Best wishes- Holly
I think there are some cool Midwest bloggers (representing MI), but we just blog about different things. I wouldn't get discourage ... the East/West coast blogs I have found have a lot of hype and try to hard. Unforunately, that's what some folks appeal to. But you don't let that stop you though!! :) If that was the case, I would have stopped a long time ago!!

Deifnitely didn't mean to imply that it's discouraged me from blogging altogether! Its just nice to hear from some people who live in the same kind of places as I do. Until now, I'd been reading a LOT of DC, NY & California blogs.
I have been too ... and the information is really exciting ... people want to be able to pick into someone else's life for a little while, get excited about the amazing things that are going on. But, I am still trying to find my niche!

When I blogged in HS it was so easy, blogging wasn't as popular. Nowadays, it isn't the same. I read an article about a girl who is selling her brand while maintaining her dignity and soul.

I am just rambling, but I figured I would just share the thoughts! :)

Repping Wisconsin! I think cool people can live anywhere (and hey, some of the coolest people are in the Midwest, because they're so cool they don't even need the coasts :P)
