I've been getting my Blogger all set up to be somewhat user-friendly and easily navigated, but my OCD has proven to make this quite difficult. I'd very much prefer for the hierarchy to be collapsed at the month. I think it would be better to just have a little diagram.

Here's how my archive currently looks.

V 2010 (6)
V August (6)

Here's how I want my archive to look, edited.

V 2010 (6)
> August (6)

Clearly takes up less space, and in my opinion looks cleaner and more betterer! So, if anyone knows how to make that happen... I'd sure love some help with it!

Go to design, click edit on your blog archive widget, and then change the style to "flat list". It cleans everything up, making it neater, but it bothers me that the tab doesnt expand to each post once its clicked. What I mean is, once its changed that way, it will only show the month, clicking it brings you to that month, and then people have to filter via the "older post". My "recent posts" shows like my last 20 though, so I feel like that keeps enough content up for the casual viewers to click.
I'm not sure how to fix it, but I would really like to find a way to list my archive on a separate page *without* any of the hierarchy, just liking to each blog post title.

If anyone knows how to do that, I'd be thrilled to know. I've about given up on it!
