Most embarrassing Middle School memory?
Ah, what a special time in all our lives. The peak of the awkward phase - both physically and socially.
Middle school, I'm speaking of you.
At the time, I'm sure every little drama seemed dire. Now, there are only a few flagship foibles forever lodged in my memory.
I was a pretty tame kid (which has worked to my advantage in the long run, as my mom still thinks I'm the reserved child in the family ...) so instances that stick out in my mind are pretty run-of-the-mill.
The story that led me to pose this question, for example (which you can read here if you feel so inclined) involves me bawling in the middle of a classroom full of my 13-year-old peers.
What about you? Best (or worst I suppose) memory of your most embarrassing middle school moment?

I actually don't remember much embarrassing me in middle school. I think I was sort of a late bloomer, so I still had all of my little kid confidence in tact at that point. I could have (and probably did) fall down the stairs in front of the entire school or fart loudly in the middle of an assembly, and I know I wouldn't have thought twice about it.
I liked middle school. It was high school that was awful.

The first day of middle school, I tripped, and due to having a backpack FULL of books, did a little somersault thing. Right in front of all my new classmates.
Now I teach middle school, so everyday is a chance to witness humiliation!

oh where to begin?! i f*cking HATeD middle school!
Me I was just a quiet awkward, tall and skinny girl everyone thought was anorexic. During this.. i was laughed at in the girls gym locker room because my pants were way too short.
Some girl in grade 7 told everyone not to talk to me because I was a bitch ((she was a good friend before)) and everyone stoppped :( i sat alone at lunch and sat in class alone.
thats not all of it either. such an awkward horrible time

there was of course lots of drama surrounding who got named cheerleading captain... my friend and i got it and another girl was apparently very upset and stormed out of practice. the next day, she came to practice crying so hard one might have thought her dog died or something! whilst stretching etc. my friend and i get called into coach's office and who is there but the crying girl? saying we have been "bullying" her about the whole thing. i didn't even really know her, mind you...
of course i think by default people take the side of the one who is crying, and my friend and i got reported to the guidance counselor and got in all this trouble for PHONY BULLYING. so bogus, because all of the teachers were gossip-mongers, and this incident was brought up throughout HIGH SCHOOL by teachers. i fancy myself a pretty nice person so it was really embarrassing and upsetting to have this reputation!
on a side note, said troublemaker girl is now very fat. karmic retribution. so i dont have so much angry bitterness anymore ;)

dear me...so many things i can relate to...middle school sucked throughtout....i was the at one whom people could easily bully bcuz i was a cry baby...this bunch of girls in my class were the worst the leader of the grioup actually...she jus didt lik me and made sure no one did...she didnt want me to have a friend in the world and everyone followed what she said...bitch!!...i dislike her to this day btu well nothing more i can do abt it....anyway one of the most embarassing moment was..hmmmmm oh crap yea...i got my periods and i didnt know until it happened and so we had to go for a clinical checkup, the girls were there ofcourse, it smelled and well embarassing...and the bitch never falter in scowling and whisering
