The Bloggers With The Most To Say
My URL... It's So Big!!!
That's what she said... HAH!
Anyway... I have an issue. I know that http://themusicplaysyou.wordpress.com is a SUPER long URL. I'm looking at getting my own host here this fall, and have been actively thinking about what I want to do.
Should I go with "www.themusicplaysyou.com"? "www.niclake.com"? "www.TMPY.com"? I'm stuck.
Any suggestions from everyone out there?

depends on how you want to "be known." the name of my blog is "jami's trashcan" but my url is jaminicole.com, because all my social media is "jami nicole."

Don't go with TMPY. That's my only real suggestion. Some of the coolest bloggers just go by their name. I'm partial to themusicplaysyou.com, though. I don't think it's too much. (is there a reason your name makes me think of basketball?)

I think that www.themusicplaysyou.com is good, it's not too long.
I purchased my own url and it's www.lifesjourneywithasmile.com - I don't think that's too long either.
I think that it doesn't matter how long your url is, I just hate lots of dots and slashes.
When I love a blog, I bookmark it or read it through my blogroll, people aren't often re-entering your url, you generally have to do it once, then it's either saved in a blogroll, bookmark, or just as soon as you type... www.themusi it will already come up in your browser as a previous site visited.
The main concern is not the length, but being catchy and true to what your blog is!
