NaNoWriMo - Are you attempting?

So I decided to try NaNoWriMo this year. I don't know if I am crazy or what, but I'm going to try.

Anyone else trying this year? And if you have done it before, how did it go for you and any tips?

This will be my first year attempting this.

I wish I could blame insanity, but I was perfectly sane at the time of signup. *sigh* I guess I'm just a masochist....

I tried it last year, but I lasted for all of a week and 3000 words lol I ran out of time and motivation. Im trying again this year, not sure how well I'll do considering the major time committment, but Im sure going to try.

I'll be doing it again this year... my third time. In 2007 I finished in 2 weeks, last year I took it more steadily & had more fun. If you know you can write 1-2k words in one sitting you'll be fine. Don't be afraid of using weekends to catch up. I'm rachel_c if anyone wants to add me .

Good luck!! I'm definitly going to take the weekends to play catch up. I think those will be my big writing days. I will definitly add you. I need all the support I can get! Thanks!! I'm neuroticwriter.

Me! I'm doing it as well. Trying to get all my uni assignments out of the way before November 1st (and you know, figure out what my novel is going to be about... >.<). I've just completed a novel and so I KNOW that I CAN write 50k workds in a month. So I'm definitely up for it!

National Novel Writing Month. Basically, throughout the month of November, people try to see if they can write a 50,000 word novel.

Hahaha I'm obviously insane. I've signed up to do this.

Well I've always wanted to try my hand at writing, so maybe this will give me the kick in the arse I needed.
