So Chic Design all the way. She just did my shopping blog and my regular blog is schedule for a makeover soon.

Teresa is fantastic and easy to work with. She is affordable and does AMAZING work! I couldn't recommend So Chic Anymore!
Some good suggestions so far.

I've always plunged in head first and tried to do everything myself, so I will be pretty useless in terms of referring you to someone to help you out.
I would suggest trying to learn at least a little bit yourself. Unless you don't have a creative bone in your body, then it isn't too hard to come up with something reasonably pleasing. Then it really is your own as well.

Or just find someone who is good at listening to you and pay them lots of cash. Whatever works I guess.
I'm right there with you. I've always done it myself only because i'm a cheap bastard. so i'll spend hours trying to figure it out instead of giving someone money that i can use to buy something cool for me.

all suggestions so far are good. i've seen really good work from all mentioned.
Even if you aren't comfortable with designing your own template, there are tons of really good looking clean layouts out there. They're pretty simple to download and install - doesn't take too much technically expertise. And best of all...they're FREE!
thats kind of what I was thinking.. and, I have to admit, I have no idea how to create my own.. lol.. I'm kinda html illiterate.. :P..

Thanks everyone! :D Appreciate your suggestions!!
And you know, you can always "tweak" a layout that you downloaded off the web for free. That way you won't have such a "cookie cutter" looking interface and you also won't have to worry about heavy coding from scratch if you just tweak someone else's work. Brilliant! ;)

My blog's layout (www.diamondkt.blogspot.com) is an example of that, although I did do some pretty involved tweaking after, but you don't need to get that technical.
Hahaha.. I can change my colours, and fonts.. and thats about it.. I am in no way -I'm gonna get myself into trouble here- a techno geek.. and I say that with the greatest respect imaginable. I wish I could figure it all out lol.. that third column thinger you did.. ya.. not gonna happen for me :P.. unless I pay someone to do it up for me :D hahaha

If you have any suggestions on how I can EASILY 'tweak' a layout, please let me know! but it has to be like "tweaking for the dumbest of dummies"!! :P Thanks!
I could probably be a really super duper nice guy and do it for you, for free. I'm sometimes swell like that. E-mail me if you're interested.
