The Bloggers With The Most To Say

So I am really bothered by the title above and I need some clarity, it seems I am not so smart after all.

So after reading thousands of blog I tend to spot a trend in comments and the response the writer tends to fire off when someone disagrees with some of or all of what
they have to say.

So my question to you guys is what is really considered a negative comment?

Does someone giving their point of view on your post make you so uncomfortable that you even delete them?

How about this one, do you want everyone to agree with everything you say on your blog?

As for me I love different perspectives, I welcome all comments because even though we are in our twenties and we think we know it all, truthfully we often don’t
know half of that the cup is holding. Being disrespectful to a person’s blog is
totally different.

I don't put up with comments that are negative for the sake of being negative. If someone disagrees with me, that's one thing; but if someone is just trolling me? Bah.
I so agree with this, people can always deliver their disagreements politely and nicely without attacking the bloggers personally. If I stumbled across disrespectful comments, I instantly delete them and that's in my good days. I definitely can fire back if it's really insulting.
I think it depends on how offensive the comment is. I might delete it if it involves racism or discrimination, or anything like that. But if the comment merely expresses the reader's point of view about my post, negative or positive, it is sooooo welcome. ;D
Yea,
A negative comment, might not be the best way to put it.
But yes, if some criticizes something I blog about, I never delete the comment. I reply and try to put my point forward. The reader has the right to agree or disagree but being obnoxious with no relation to the content, deserves to deleted.
Yes. Totally. ;D
Shashank- I am not the one calling is negative comment thats what i have seen it been called if one disagree with what is being said.
lol lol.
I don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me on my blog. Heck, some of my posts have been written JUST to incite some opposition.

The only times I'll actually delete comments are (1) spam that somehow makes it past the filters (2) hateful jabbering that serves no purposes. Trolling, however, gets a special response from me.

Things like blog envy, while annoying, are just ignored.
A good policy I have adopted recently is to allow all commentary but respond to my comments only via email if I want the conversation to continue, and also to recognize the commenter. This way, if a negative comment shows up, the uproar doesn't happen on my blog itself. And I don't dignify a negative comment with an email.

Thing is, though, I have enough faith in the 20SB community members who read my blog to get smartass and defend me if I get trolled. Thankfully it's not happened, but I have seen it happen on other blogs.
I will defend your honor against any negativity, Nico. RAWR!
I think they're funny! Most of the time...
If I think a comment would be offensive to someone else, I delete it. Me--I don't care. I think when you have a blog you are putting yourself out there to be criticized. I just like getting comments because it shows people are reading and like/dislike what they are reading enough to comment either way. The more the merrier. :)
